"We're making the ultimate inflatable Wading Pool for Mom." — Phineas[src] |
The Wading Pool is an inflatable pool put together by Phineas and Ferb as an ode to their mother's fond memories of enjoying one.
History[]
The Flynn-Fletcher family partake in the opening ceremony of the Bee Day Festival. Returning from it, the boys and the parents express their enjoyment with a swarm of bee jokes, while Candace wishes for quietude to ease her quiz-taking. Leaving her daughter alone, Linda drives past two kids bathing in a small pool, reminding her of the times she played with a little Candace in one. Inspired, Phineas declares to Ferb his plan of constructing a swimming course to please their mother.
The two proceed sorting out the inflation and filling of certain sections, by the hour Isabella arrives to greet them. Tending to her request, Phineas repurposes a shapeshifting device as aid for the scouts' mission, promising to wait for them to kick off the water party. Afterwards, he gets Baljeet to lend a hand in the pumping procedure so as to accelerate the project, interrupting the bee behavior conversation between the latter and Ginger, which is nonetheless ended abruptly.
With the work finished, the brothers, Baljeet, and Buford gather at the peak. The bully convinces the rest to conduct a test run of the structure, mocking Phineas' voice to achieve this. Dropping down, the kids make their way through the many compartments, landing in a mini pool. Soon after, a sizeable amount of pheromones sticks to the extendable surface, attracting a colony of bees, which pull the invention with them into the air, where it is deflated altogether onto an emo Candace ("Bee Day").
Design[]
The Wading Pool is a giant pool encompassing a dark yellow entrance tower, a mount-esque ice formation, a teal tube with red and white rings; a red and white funnel, big pools of green, blue, yellow, dark yellow, orange, teal, and red colors; small pools of purple, red-white, yellow, and blue-white patterns; and two orange and green pipes. Having decorative palm trees spread out, the ride is largely interconnected by seven-noodle yellow slides with orange outlines, the last of which docking into a Ducky Momo-imprinted pink pool.
Mechanics[]
The Wading Pool can be presumably accessed by some sort of ladder behind the entryway point. From there, users can slide down or jump to cross over each area, with multiple paths to the bottom incrementing its replayability value. A few special types of liquid currents are incorporated in the ride, namely a mud pit, carbonated bubbles, an icy floor, and a waterfall. Some of the drops are equipped with purple buoyant floats, enabling bouncy midway fun.
