Phineas and Ferb Wiki

Well, last week was definitely one of the more extraordinary ones our country has seen in quite some time. In the midst of several events that rocked the country and the world, here stands a shining beacon of normalcy: The Numbers Game! This is Volume 54 of the blog that breaks down the numbers of our favorite show.

While the eyes of the nation focused on the developing sitch in Boston[1], 2.593 million viewers[2] turned their eyes to Phineas and Ferb and its new episode "Backyard Hodge Podge". The 20 percent decrease from two weeks prior is only understandable given the unique circumstances of last Friday night; it placed only behind its Disney cohorts Gravity Falls and Jessie among scripted cable programming on the evening.

Despite the lower viewership numbers, the show still ranked highly in its target demographics. Its strongest performance was among Kids 6-11, where it moved up a spot over "Mind Share" to No. 3 despite the rating falling 22 percent to 4.9. Among Tweens 9-14, Phineas and Ferb also secured the No. 3 spot with a 4.4 rating in the age group.[3] Viewership among Kids 2-11 dropped by 20 percent to a 4.0 rating, good for No. 9 on the week.[4] Finally, the Adults 18-49 rating dropped to 0.3 with a 33 percent viewership drop.[2]

Phineas and Ferb returns to the new airwaves with "Bee Day / Bee Story" tomorrow night, Friday, April 26 at 9:00PM Eastern (8:00 Central). The Numbers Game will return with ratings coverage after it does. Until then, go read about some Cool Stuff coming in August, follow @RyanStoppable on Twitter, and remember...that the numbers never lie.
