Tyler Alexander Mann plays Carl in Phineas and Ferb.
Biography[]
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, he started acting at age of 7, with the role of "Linus" in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." He also appeared as a member of the John Burroughs High School musical show choir "Powerhouse" when he went to the Burbank, California high school, which was the basis for the high school choir in the Fox TV show Glee, and appeared on Oprah and Dancing with the Stars with them. It was in 2007 at a performance of "Thirteen" at the Mark Taper Forum that Phineas and Ferb creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh saw and heard him do the distinctive voice that would become Carl Karl, Major Monogram's intern and resident lackey for OWCA. He would later go on to voice another character, Tony Marzulo, in the episode "Tales from the Resistance: Back to the 2nd Dimension".
Mann is now a professional singer, but occasionally returns to voice act.
