Thrill-o-rama! is the fourth in a series of chapter books based on Phineas and Ferb, published on July 7, 2009.
Book Summary[]
Thrill-o-rama is a near word-for-word adaptation of the episodes "One Good Scare Ought to Do It!" and "Are You My Mummy?", presented as Part One and Part Two. The book makes the transition from Part One to Part Two with the simple phrase, "Summer is short, you've got to make every day count!". Differences between the book and the episodes as broadcast are noted below. In general, most of the differences are that of timing, where an event is described as happening at a slightly different time (usually before) than when it happened in the episode, though some lines are missing from the episode.
Each page typically has a picture from the episode that helps the reader visualize what is being described. The picture is a halftone screenshot from the episode (taken from the wide format originals), cropped into custom shapes such as rectangles with cut-out corners or ellipses. Each chapter includes a picture of Phineas and Ferb at the beginning of the chapter, and Perry's image appears next to each page number.

Background Information[]
- The songs are described in general terms, rather than specifics. (For example, no lyrics are transcribed)
- Doofenshmirtz's first name is incorrectly written as "Heinrich", and the O.W.C.A. is mistakenly referred to as the "Organization Without a Cool Anagram".
Differences between the book and the episodes[]
Most timing differences, where an event occurs in the book a few moments before when it does in the episode, will not be noted here.
Part One ("One Good Scare Ought to Do It!")[]
- Missing line: "Kevin, to his friends."
- Changed line: "You're getting hot and cold" is simply referred to as "the game".
- New scene: In the end, Isabella hiccups again and says "Darn", revealing that the boys didn't cure her condition, but stalled it.
Part Two ("Are You My Mummy?")[]
- Changed: Doofenshmirtz's line, "COMPLETELY CREDIBLE!", is described as unintelligible mumbling.

Based on the series created by Dan Povenmire & Jeff "Swampy" Marsh
Candace sat in her pink bedroom, a banana to her ear, as she pretended to call her not-so-secret crush, Jeremy Johnson. "Hello," she began, "is this the Johnson residence? I'd like to speak to Jeremy Johnson." She smiled. "This is Candace Flynn. Why am I calling, you ask?" She referred to her open notebook, which listed several reasons for calling. She chose one. "Because I have a question about our algebra assignment. Thank you, I'll hold." She frantically flipped through her notebook. Okay, okay. Let's see... opening jokes, opening jokes... "Hey-ah, Jeremy. This is Candace Flynn. So, what do you get when you cross a yak and a Martian?"
Just then, her bedroom door opened with a squeak. "Honey," said a voice, "could I interrupt for just a sec?"
"Why, Jeremy Johnson," Candace said in a teasing voice, "did you just call me honey?" Suddenly her eyes widened in surprise. She realized that her mom was standing in her doorway!
"No, Candace," answered her mother, "I just wanted to tell you I'm off to my book club. I left a phone number on the fridge in case of an emergency. And, Candace, honey?"
"Yes, Mom?" asked Candace.
"I hope you're not planning on talking to that banana all afternoon," her mom said with a smile as she headed out the door.
