Thank You, Perry! is the twelfth 8x8 book based on Phineas and Ferb, published on June 19, 2012.
Book Summary[]
Phineas, Ferb, Baljeet, and Buford are working on their newest ride, the Loop-Tickler-Roller-Drop-Chute-Spinner, and they explain to Isabella that it is controlled by a remote. Suddenly, a ray hits Candace and the remote, and both disappear, the latter of which is soon noticed by the gang. In Perry's lair, Major Monogram explains that Doofenshmirtz's new inator has been firing all over town and making things disappear. Candace finds herself in a hot-air balloon, while the gang searches the backyard for the remote, only for Perry to find it under a flower pot.
Because of Perry's action, the gang begins arranging a party as a form of gratitude, which gets the agent worried as he has to check on his nemesis. At the same time, Doofenshmirtz and Norm are trying to get control of the doctor's invention, the Get-Lost-inator, which was originally built to get rid of every politician in town, but it had gone haywite. Norm then comes up with a solution, but gets zapped by the inator before he can speak. In the backyard, the celebration had begun, with tributes, speeches, a trophy, choreographed musical numbers and a special dinner.
While everyone is eating, Candace falls from the balloon on the table, and Perry uses the opportunity to escape and find Doofenshmirtz. After arriving at his nemesis' lair, Perry unplugs the inator, bends its barrel towards itself and plugs it back in, causing the machine to zap itself and disappear. Afterwards, Agent P dives off the balcony and heads home.
