Spot the Diff is a puzzle game based on Phineas and Ferb, released on the Disney website in July 2008 as a tie-in to the nominative event.
Gameplay[]
Players have to identify eight visual deviations dispersed across eight sets of pictures grabbed from the opening and chapters of the show, which are displayed in a diagonal side-by-side viewpoint to enable cross-referencing between two similar stills in the 45 seconds allotted. Clicking on discovered divergences in the modified image grants one point each and lights up green circles denoting them, otherwise points are extracted upon touching clean spaces. Stages progress after either exhausting time or spotting all inaccuracies, with missing errors subsequently disclosed for the former.

Background Information[]
- Changed sketches may be positioned in the upper or lower segments of the chart depending on the stage, given levels 1, 6, 7, and 8 place it above while levels 2, 3, 4, and 5 settle it below. Pressing alterations in both sides counts towards the total.
- A five-second countdown is enacted as a transition succeeding the termination of every level except for the last one, regardless of success status. For the final phase, a game over message is displayed instead alongside an invitation to retry everything.
- Taking into account the scoring procedure, the highest number of points achievable is a cumulative of 64, summing eight units for all eight stages.
- The reccurrence of the integer eight on the puzzle's organization matches the repeating eccentricity found in the first premiere date for its linked marathon, 08/08/08.
- Screengrabs shown in the pastime are delineated by an arrangement of 30x20 dotted lines, donning a white hue on the bottom and left borders and a gray tone on the top and right edges.
- Renders of Phineas and Ferb can be seen in the bottom right corner of the layout throughout the entire challenge. Phineas' image is a stock art in the original artstyle, whereas Ferb's profile retains the definitive look established later on.
- Following a handful of restarts, the activity starts to severely glitch out in its illustrations, eliciting the manifestation of green oval vectors atop certain differences and red outlines above other errors before the interval closure animation.
- Picture one, focusing on the rollercoaster's drive through false snakes, was retooled for the book Game On!: Fun Stuff Activity Book as a comparable brain teaser bearing a varied batch of revisions.
