"It's Jeremy's birthday and I wanna do something really special to show I care and you guys are good are doing, you know, what you do, and, well, all I have is this scrapbook and I don't wanna blow it, so can you help me, huh?" — Candace[src] |
Jeremy's Birthday Scrapbook-aganza, better known as the Scrapbook-aganza, is a giant scrapbook built by Phineas and Ferb at Candace's commission of a remarkable birthday gift for Jeremy.
History[]
A frustrated Candace relays her feelings onto Stacy for having difficulty in putting together a birthday gift to Jeremy. Wanting to relieve the tension, Stacy questions her friend on the source of the panic, which the latter says is a desire to surprise her boyfriend with a truly amazing present. Realizing the scope of her idea, Candace is reluctantly convinced to get her siblings' help. Coming to them, she explains her situation, giving them her scrapbook as a basis for the project.
Candace, carrying a box, passes by an inquisitive Linda on the way to the backyard. Pushing her mother out, she is able to hand over memorabilia from Jeremy to the boys, who then give her a special camera so that she can take pictures of locations and items related to her boyfriend throughout town. While she wanders around, the photos are transmitted to the boys, ready to be incorporated into the giant scrapbook.
Later, Candace arrives at the backyard to see the complete scrapbook. To Love Händel's musical accompaniment, she does a test run of the invention, finding it to be perfect. Delighted, she rushes to get her boyfriend as she hears his car, only for her biggest fear to occur thanks to external interference. Fortunately, an understanding Jeremy agrees to view the regular-sized gift in place of the giant one, enjoying it nonetheless ("Cheers for Fears").
Design[]
The Scrapbook-aganza is a giant blue scrapbook containing 3D recreations of memorable Jeremy moments. Having different interior colors, each pair of pages has a mix of scenes and miscellaneous memorabilia. Due to its size, a light blue lift is necessary to take to see everything; it is temporarily disconnected for page turns.
Activities[]
Scenes seen in the Scrapbook-aganza include Jeremy's hand playing guitar, Candace and Jeremy eating meatball subs, the two of them consuming soup, a moving blue eye of Jeremy, Candace trying to play guitar, Jeremy hugging Candace, them dancing, going through the car wash, a revisit of a sandal commercial, the time Jeremy saved a tree, the couple dining, the two partaking in an activity, and them kissing.

Background Information[]
- The invention's name is a blend of the words "scrapbook" and "extravaganza".
- Used as a blueprint, Candace's pop-up book seems to showcase many of the same occasions as the giant version, with its first page and main attraction being the couple's first kiss.
- The Scrapbook-aganza is the kids' second plan for the day, the first being a fusion-powered popper.
- According to Candace, the objects she keeps from her relationship with Jeremy are called "Jeremorabilia", a portmanteau of "Jeremy" and "memorabilia".
- Pictures taken by Candace on her trip through town are an awning with the same color as Jeremy's eyes, and daffodils akin to the ones given to her on their third date, among others.
- The printer connected to the camera maintains the scent of items, enhancing the scrapbook's immersion feature.
- Candace's thoughts on the giant scrapbook are summed up by a smiley face, as noted in her clipboard. This is likely a reference to certain satisfaction scales, which use facial ideograms to denote the enjoyment levels.
