Science Nerds Rule! is an activity book based on Phineas and Ferb, published on July 23, 2013.
Book Summary[]
The book starts off with words of advice on the experimental execution, driving readers to pursue their parents to set up the optimal location, obtain items, and guarantee caution. Succeeding a note on steadfast practices, a clever comparison between Phineas and Ferb and scientists is drawn, incentivizing one to explore engineering much like the boys do.

An accessible explanation for concepts is traced at the beginning of every topic, thereby leading to their respective tests. Procedures to the assessments are distributed in three sections; "You Will Need" catalogs the required equipment, "Directions" enumerates the proper steps, and "How It Works" provides the process exposition. On the tail end, a set of five activities influenced by research reasoning is introduced so that the reader can entertainingly exercise critical thinking skills whilst using the additional material and instructions.

Background Information[]
- Stickers and press-outs are contained in the book for use in a few observations and in the bonus activities.
- The parental guidance suggestion at the preface is formulated as "don't get busted!", referring to the act of catching young readers performing messy trials unsupervised, analogous to Candace's belief on busting her brothers.
- In the introductory text, the writeup is concluded with the remark that "today is going to be a great day", nodding to the series' extended theme.
- The Science Journal includes six blanks for the reader to register their name, favorite experiments, observations, how they worked it all out, lessons learned, and cool conclusions.
- Topic 1's title, "Fact of Matter", is a play on the phrase "matter of fact".
- Experiment 3's label, "Thar She Blows", is a quip about the variation of the saying "there she blows", used in a nautical context upon witnessing a whale spouting.
- Experiment 7's name, "Tornado in a Bottle", is a spoof of the object ship in a bottle.
- Experiment 9, "Opposites Attract", alludes to the common belief that people of opposite natures are oftenly attracted to one another, akin to the electric charge interactions.
- Activity 2, "Mirror, Mirror, Tell Me All", references the famous line uttered by the Evil Queen to the Magic Mirror in the fairy tale "Snow White", "Magic Mirror on the wall, who's the fairest one of all?", usually rendered with a repeating "mirror".
- Activity 3, "Up Perryscope", marks the second instance in which the pun "Perryscope" is employed in Phineas and Ferb media, the first being in the game Down Perry-Scope.
