Ride the Voter Coaster is the tenth 8x8 book based on Phineas and Ferb, published on May 15, 2012.
Book Summary[]
It's Election Day in Danville, and the town is holding elections for mayor and junior mayor. The gang discusses about who should participate, and Phineas and Ferb decide to compete against each other. Meanwhile, Perry arrives at Doofenshmirtz's lab where he explains his latest evil scheme, the Polka-inator. With it, he forces everyone to dance the polka so that no one can vote for Roger, and with two guaranteed votes by himself and Norm, Heinz would be elected mayor.
In the backyard, Isabella is planning Phineas' campaign, and Baljeet is doing the same for Ferb, with Buford taking neither side. After shaking kids' hands and kissing babies, the data points that the boys are almost tied in popularity. At the D.E.I., Perry manages to break free from his trap, destroy the inator and stop everyone from dancing, but unfortunately the voting polls are about to close. At the same time, Phineas and Ferb are holding a rally to explain to the voters what they would do if elected, when Isabella tells them about the time problem.
The gang then decides to build a voter coaster to let everyone vote in the amount of time that was left, by handing each voter a ballot and transporting them to the nearest voting station. Thanks to that, the election is a success and Roger is re-elected. Seeing what the boys had done, everyone votes for both of them to be junior mayors, and they congratulate each other for their victory.
