Biography[]
Background[]
Johann Shmidt is a German boy who becomes an orphan at birth. A lonely individual, he lives on the streets as a thief before getting various menial jobs. Growing up, he meets the first person to treat him well, the daughter of one of his employers. After being rejected by her, he murders her in a moment of rage, giving birth to his insanity. While working as a bellhop in a hotel, he serves Hitler, who senses his dark nature and decides to recruit him as his protégé and second-in-command in the war, for which he is given a skull mask.
"Mission Marvel"[]
In New York City, he, along with M.O.D.O.K., Venom, and Whiplash, fights Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Spider-Man. He and M.O.D.O.K. bring an anti-matter weapon to destroy the heroes, only for it to be shot by Iron Man and thrown into a nearby river by Hulk before they can blast the city. The villains are then defeated, but the heroes are suddenly zapped, scaring Skull and the others into leaving.
At Red Skull's castle, he reviews the footage of the Avengers being hit by a ray, and claims there was a miscalculation in his plan. To the complaints of his companions, he calls M.O.D.O.K. to reveal who is responsible for the heroes' loss of power. Having scanned the internet, the human computer states that Doofenshmirtz is the one behind what happened. With this information, the villains ready themselves to go to the doctor's place in Danville.
At Evil Inc., the villains introduce themselves to Doofenshmirtz and ask to view his inventions in hopes of finding the device that drained the heroes' powers. Passing through the Hall of Inators, the doctor shows them a variety of unrelated machines, to their confusion. They wonder about the Power-Drain-inator, which Doofenshmirtz says had been destroyed by his nemesis, and order him to rebuild it, while letting him think that they are cooperating. Before starting to work, the doctor informs them of errands he has to run, inviting them to come along.
Doofenshmirtz and the villains go around town committing petty crimes. At the mall, they have enough of the doctor's foolishness and begin terrorizing it to get the heroes' attention. The Avengers, now with switched powers, arrive to stop the evil group, but are beaten and captured. Seeing the mixed abilities, Skull questions Doofenshmirtz, who is unable to give a proper answer. As Skull declares victory, a masked vigilante comes and rescues the heroes, to the villains' dismay.
Back at Doofenshmirtz's lair, the doctor presents the re-made inator and its core parts that power it. Upon asking what the group wants it for, Doofenshmirtz is trapped by them, who explain their scheme to destroy the Tri-State Area, weaken all superheroes, and take over the world. Prior to leaving, they attack and ensnare Perry, whom they had noticed sneaking near the ceiling. In the City Hall, the group makes a public threat to eliminate the Tri-State Area if the heroes do not show up, forcing the Avengers to come.
In downtown Danville, the villains wait for the heroes' arrival, sensing their presence in a bus. Like predicted, the Avengers come out of the bus and are quickly beaten. While Skull looks down on his rivals, Whiplash throws Iron Man up into the air to be caught by Hulkjeet. Out of nowhere, waffles start to rain from above, causing the villains to release the heroes. Spider-Man takes the reactor core of the inator, ensuing a fight. Guarding the core, the Avengers resist their foes throughout a park.
The evil group gathers the core's parts, but Phineas and Ferb's falling space station smashes the weapon before it can fire. Thanks to Candace and Isabella, the heroes' powers are restored. A final fight takes place to settle matters, on which the villains are defeated and detained on the Quinjet.
Physical appearance[]
Red Skull has a red skull-shaped head and yellow eyes. He wears a navy green jacket with a dark green turtleneck; a dark green waistband, light green gloves, navy green pants, and brown boots.
Personality[]
He is ambitious and egocentric. Meeting Doofenshmirtz, he quickly formulates a plan to dominate the planet, taking the doctor's original scope of the Tri-State Area up a notch. Defeating his rivals, he is condescending to them, expressing his and his allies' superiority over them and humanity.
Relationships[]
Villains[]
Red Skull has positive relationships with his fellow villains. The leader in charge of the group, he often relies on M.O.D.O.K. as his right-hand man for intel and machinery, leaving Venom and Whiplash to fend for themselves in combat.
The Avengers[]
Much like his teammates, Red Skull despises the Avengers, taking the chance to beat the heroes and boast about his success to them.
Doofenshmirtz[]
Red Skull initially thinks Doofenshmirtz is diabolic for de-powering the heroes, but later realizes that the doctor is a fool.
Perry and Kids[]
Red Skull treats the heroes' help as pests, calling Perry a fly.
