Principal Lang is the principal of Danville High School. He tries to catch Doofenshmirtz doing mischief as a science teacher out of spite for their past.
Biography[]
In a school day at Danville High School, Principal Lang introduces the new science teacher, Doofenshmirtz. To Vanessa's surprise, her father explains that he is there for community service. Lang informs Heinz that he is monitoring him, falling into a storage room as he speaks. After cleaning his mess, the principal exits through the correct door. Doofenshmirtz mentions that he used to know Lang, but ignores the thought and begins teaching.
In the principal's office, Mrs. Pierpoint wonders if Lang is brooding. He then reveals that he and Doofenshmirtz went to community college together, and Heinz married Charlene, whom he had a crush on. Pierpoint thinks that he should give up the grudge, much to Lang's annoyance.
After a mutant Johnny drops one of the school bells, Lang notices its sound, commenting that it shouldn't have rung at that time. As Doofenshmirtz and the students go back to class, Lang is confused by the bell on the ground, which was dropped when Heinz fell from Perry's hovercar before saving Vanessa. At the end of the school day, Lang bursts into Doofenshmirtz's classroom, expecting chaos, only to find a normal lesson ("Doof 101").
Physical appearance[]
Lang is light-skinned and has brown hair, a brown monobrow, and green eyes. He wears a blue suit with two dark blue buttons, a red tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes.
Personality[]
He appears to be strict and stubborn. He affirms that he will be watching Doofenshmirtz, not accepting any chaos from Heinz's activities in the school. These actions are fueled by Lang's dislike of Doofenshmirtz for stealing the one he loved from him, which he maintains, even though Heinz and Charlene are divorced.

Mrs. Pierpoint[]
Being his secretary, Mrs. Pierpoint provides advice to him about his problems, which seem to be often disregarded by Lang.

He grew to dislike Doofenshmirtz for marrying the one he loved, leading to him trying to find an excuse to fire Heinz as a teacher.
Charlene[]
He used to love Charlene in his school days, but it seems to not have been mutual, as she married Doofenshmirtz instead.

- He is the third character to be portrayed with a monobrow, after Francis and Monty Monogram.
- He essentially takes on the role of Candace in the episode, attempting to use his grudge to "bust" Doofenshmirtz, similar to how Candace fails to show her mother what Phineas and Ferb are doing.
