Phineasize-U, known as Phineasize-Se in Portuguese, is a sandbox game based on Phineas and Ferb, developed by Disney Online Latin America for the Disney Latino and Brazil websites in 2010. Users can create an avatar in the show's style from a template and some options.

Gameplay[]

A working screen containing a base template inspired on Ferb's upper body is presented to the visitors upon booting up the character creator. Encircling the blank figure are a couple of choices associated to its skin, hair, face, and shirt, each of which may be selected by clicking on their respective icons with the mouse for accessing two different kinds of personalization; normal features have a tab comprising five picks to the visuals, while the color hues include a wide wheel palette. A printable download of the end design could be done through the output button.

Background Information[]

  • In Spanish, the game's name abbreviates the word usted ("you") as simply the letter U, most likely to match the diction of the English vocable. Conversely, the Portuguese version maintains the label in its language, using the regular connection of the 'you' pronoun to the verb.
  • Oddly, the Brazilian release has the activity's designation incorrectly written as "Phineasie-Se", missing the necessary "z" near the termination. Additionally, the clothing color option is left untranslated and the zoom in is misspelled as "reducir" rather than "reduzir".
  • The pastime's running SWF file provides the alternate title Phineas [and Ferb] Avatron, a blend word of the term "avatar" and the technological suffix "tron", alluding to both the nature and theme of the attraction.[1]
  • Engineering symbology was applied to most of the customization choices to complement the series' construction leitmotif, highlighting cartoony depictions of equipment and pieces commonly seen throughout the building montages starring the boys.
  • Atop the principal panel is a chromed message telling the player to "adjust their image" accordingly, a wording reflected in the dashboard of every selection through the marked memo "Adjust: [Option]".
  • Previews of the chosen cosmetic modifications were observed in the left-hand drawing over the white background, occasionally glimmered by a spotlight placed above it. Zooming in or out switches the focus ranging from Ferb's head to almost his entire body.
  • Outside of the activity's screen, renders of Phineas and Ferb facing backwards are positioned in a backyard scenario eyeing the device board around a few tools, giving the impression that the whole designer machine is one of their grandious works.
  • Excluding the multiple colorations, a total of 3,125 distinct avatars could be formed utilizing the typical customization alternatives found within the sandbox.
  • Artworks fabricated in the game had the recourse of getting sent to a friend via the Disney e-mail system, relying on the sender linking their own account to the website's services in a way of voluntarily receiving other related communications as well.
  • This is the first character creator to be produced for the Phineas and Ferb franchise, the second being the tie-in 2D Yourself. Incidentally, Latin America is one of the only regions where the latter was released.
