Phineas and Ferb Wiki is a fan-maintained database centered around the popular Disney show Phineas and Ferb. It was founded on April 1, 2008[1] by Drjones007. Since then, there have been 810,878 edits, and there are currently 3,443 articles pertaining to everything about the show, including its characters, cast, and much more.

Pre-Wiki: TV.com[]
The community's origins trace back to TV.com. On the now-defunct site, users made the first efforts in documenting information related to the show by cataloguing episode premiere dates, promotional pictures, and more. The earliest discussions about the series took place in the forums, with some beginning prior to the formal debut of the series in February 2008.[2] Episode-centered threads were created as each premiered,[3] and fan clubs were established within the show's first regular month.[4]
The forums quickly got popular as a large number of people became fans of the show. Related promotions, marathons, and new merchandise were posted in them to spread awareness,[5][6][7] and various games were held by fans, such as "Hurt or Heal".[8] The surge in popularity led to the creation of a definitive fanbase,[9] a fanfiction-centralized point,[10] and the series' own fan-mantained encyclopedia.
Beginnings[]
On April 1, 2008, two months after the show's official debut, the Phineas and Ferb Wiki was founded by Drjones007. The founder created the pages for the principal cast, some of the main characters, and the first episodes,[11] but much was still missing at that point.
Following a month of silence since the founder's disappearance, three users joined the wiki, SuperFlash101, Topher208, and Felinoel. The three laid the foundations for many of the pages, creating articles on more characters, episodes, and core elements of the series. On September 2, Topher was promoted to administrator as part of an adoption request.[12]
Thanks to the work of these three users, the site became significantly more organized than it was before, with infoboxes, songs, and help pages being added by September. That month, another prominent contributor, RRabbit42, started editing the wiki. He wrote some of the first episode summaries,[13][14] and was responsible for the article framework that would continue to be used on the site thereafter.[15]
As the site began to grow, and much of the groundwork had been completed, focus shifted to keeping track of information and organizing the necessary help pages. Articles on marathons, a list of fake episodes, and a FAQ page were put together by February 2009. With the start of Season 2, more users came to the wiki, making it so more staff members were needed to prevent vandalism from going rampant. A voting was held to decide if Topher would become the first bureaucrat; he was promoted on March 18.[16] Flash and RRabbit42 were given rollback rights the next day,[17][18] consolidating the site's first staff group.
