Phineas and Ferb Digital Painter is a sandbox game based on Phineas and Ferb, released for the Disney Create website on March 16, 2012. Players are capable of drawing and painting art inspired by the series.

Gameplay[]

A large cluster of painting projects are manageable by appropriating the blank canvas and the classes affiliated to the tailoring dashboard. Comprehended in these are the background filler murals, the gizmo marker threads, the character stock stamps, and the piece figure stickers, the latter two getting the motion steps of dragging, resizing, and rotating with the mouse to fit the envisioned standards. Miscellaneous utensils include a graffiti spray cannister, a text positioner, an area selector hand, an eraser, a pigment picker, and a zooming magnifier.

Aside from the primary kit, there is a color tone field running in tandem with the picking tool, allowing visitors to choose unique hues of their own to augment their artistic expression, those being deposited in little boxes for interchangeable use. Auxiliary widgets entail a control panel for four recourses regulating both the opacity and thickness of the implemented increments. Upon conclusion, the work may be united to outside illustrations produced by the player, saved in local memory, printed, or downloaded thanks to each of the upper switches.

Contest[]

My favorite way to win...

This article is about a contest and/or sweepstakes sponsored by Disney and/or one of their licensees/sponsors using Phineas and Ferb characters. The contest is currently going on or has ended, depending on the date the article was either created or updated.

WhatchaDoinForBreakfast

In conjunction with the activity's debut, a contest entitled Whatcha Doin' for Breakfast Sweepstakes took place as a cooperative ploy endorsed by the Got Milk? campaign. It consisted in a drawing test appointed to people from the ages of six and older, who are propelled to sketch an innovative mechanism on the boys' whimsical style in the aim of getting milk into the breakfast buffet. Submissions were accepted from March 16 to May 30, 2012, holding a limit to the entering amount of elligible applications to one per individual and address in a day.

Two weeks after the closure of the entry form, on June 13, 2012, each work by the contenders was placed in a ballot, through which a random draw occurred in the hands of the event's administrator. Twenty participants ended up being selected as the overall winners, granting them the opportunity of grabbing a digital graphic art tablet or a 200 US$ Amazon Gift Card for prizes. Victory messages were dispatched to the added emails on the next day, June 14, leaving the users to fill out paperwork and claim the desired item until September 20, 2012.

Background Information[]

  • In case the player wants to review the prepared directions and shortcut controls, the introduction slides are toggleable by pressing the question mark switch located on the top right corner of the creating screen, although the last one seen is opened rather than the first.
  • Choosing a color in the hue gradient and stamping a character or apparatus on the screen results in the figures being positioned with the slated shading scheme instead of the usual palette, giving way for more design possibilities apart from the traditional stock portraits.
  • Similary, evoking a backdrop while having a specific tint selected causes the setting picture to show up with the designated complexion. The exception to this rule is the Agent P mosaic, since it is already set as a filled painting in regards to its framework.
  • Digitized illustrations bear a small copyright notice along the bottom portion reading "Copyright Disney - All Rights Reserved", which serves as a watermark for the creations to avoid property problems if they are shared outside of the Disney homepage. Below it is a message stating "Watch Phineas and Ferb on Disney Channel!", surrounded by two question marks placed due to a coding mistake.
