Phineas and Ferb Comic Creator is a sandbox game based on Phineas and Ferb, released in the Disney UK website in June 2011 as part of the Agent P's Top Secret Missions event and in the Disney Create homepage in June 2012. It lets visitors concoct themed comic stories presenting several elements from the series.
Gameplay[]
A cartoon strip can be fabricated through a sequence of maneuvers briefly showcased by the interface in no particular ordering. Its foundation consists of a panel layout selectable from the outset, thereby unsealing the rest of the tailoring alternatives for unbound usage. Among the choices are a multitude of background stills grabbed from the show, character illustrations in a myriad of stances, fillable speech bubbles, object figures and onomatopoeias, gadget threads via a marker, and painting instruments, all accessible with mouse clicks.
Supplementary pages may be added or removed by pressing the respective buttons on the right-hand menu, which includes options for individual coloring and caption texts supporting modifiers for size, opaqueness, and font style, as well as slots to store custom hues. A bonus feature found on the upper toolbar allows external images saved in the users' device to be ported into the artpiece, similar in vein to saving a work in the memory thanks to a separate recourse. Alongside these, there is the possibility of printing and downloading the art.

Contest[]
My favorite way to win...
|

A drawing competition revolving around the Comic Creator, titled Best Day Ever! Contest, was staged in a collaboration between Disney and Honey Maid. Aiming to stimulate the imagination and ambition of kids from the ages of six to twelve, the sweepstakes put forth the challenge of depicting what they would consider to be a great day through comics starring Phineas, Ferb, and their friends. Entries could be submitted in the period of February 12 to April 8, 2013 by sharing the artworks on either the main homepage or the Made Co. mirror of the pastime.
Evaluations took place from April 9 to May 7 by an insider group, bearing in mind the criteria of originality, creativity, storyline, and artistic quality observed in the executed idea. Ten winners were chosen and notified on May 8, each receiving a digital art tablet for a collective prize. On top of this, the sole grand victor gained a three day trip for them and three guests to Los Angeles bundled with hotel accommodations in the following summer, as part of a scheme to have a one-hour meeting and drawing session under a Phineas and Ferb animator.[3]

Background Information[]
- In case the player wants to review the prepared directions and shortcut controls, the introduction slides are toggleable by pressing the question mark switch located on the top right corner of the creating screen, although the last one seen is opened rather than the first.
- Various episodes are referenced throughout the activity:
- Besides the exclusive assets, the UK version includes slightly distinct button icons in a yellow and orange fashion for the selectable options, coupled with round gray markings dictating the possibilities of sizing, rotating, and positioning a character or object figurine. Unique choices relating to a fullscreen viewing mode and a PDF file renderization are appended as well.[4]
- Some oddities are encountered within the data for the UK build, namely that Doofenshmirtz is wrongly listed as "Professor Doofenshmirtz"[5] and intel pertaining to an Epic Mickey online experience seemed to have been accidentally brought over onto the attraction's code.[6]
- Digitized illustrations bear a small copyright notice along the bottom portion reading "Copyright Disney - All Rights Reserved", which serves as a watermark for the creations to avoid property problems if they are shared outside of the Disney homepage. Below it is a message stating "Watch Phineas and Ferb on Disney Channel!", surrounded by two question marks placed due to a coding mistake.
- Shared artpieces could be shown in the Suggested Artwork slideshow portion of the website, registering a thumbnail, the name, and the author in the highlights. Every creation had an accessible subpage whose link contained a unique 33-character code assigned to them.
