The book starts off with a message by Phineas and Ferb followed by an introduction to them and Candace. Afterwards, the reader is invited to write about themselves.
The book is divided into several sections that are spread randomly throughout it:

A mini section called "Buford Van Stomm Presents Would You Rather?" can be seen at the bottom of some pages. As the name suggests, dilemmas are presented for the reader to think about.
There are a few one-time sections, namely the ones where Candace, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and the O.W.C.A. take over for a few pages to give their own advice, as well as a Halloween guide called "Haunting Your House", a compilation of Ferbisms, and a blueprint design challenge.
At the end, the reader is invited to write their own advice and to play a word match game to "predict" their future. Phineas and Ferb then thank the reader for enjoying their book.
