My Funny Valentine is the second 8x8 book based on Phineas and Ferb, published on December 15, 2009.
Book Summary[]
On Valentine's Day, Candace anticipates going to the dance with Jeremy and all of the presents he will give her. As Phineas and Ferb wonder what to do, Jeremy asks them for help, explaining that all of the Valentine's Day presents have been stolen. Candace appears, warning the boys not to ruin her day. Meanwhile, Perry runs off to receive his mission from Major Monogram to recover the presents that have been stolen by Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
In the backyard, Phineas, Ferb, Jeremy, and Isabella begin to work on their secret project while Candace practices responses to gifts she is hoping to receive. Candace then sees a trench and goes to tell her mom, much to Jeremy's relief. At the same time, Perry arrives in Doofenshmirtz's lair, where he is trapped by a stuffed bear. Candace finds her mom getting ready for the dance, and is reminded to do the same. Outside, the gang is directing trucks to the trench.
Dr. Doofenshmirtz explains his plan to introduce the Broken-Heart Day with his Fireworks-spell-inator, but Perry manages to break free and begins to fight him. At home, Jeremy arrives at Candace's door and offers her the gondola ride that the boys made, and they ride through town while Ferb plays the accordion. Perry attaches the stolen presents to the inator, causing gifts to rain from the sky, and reunites with Phineas and Ferb, who go on another ride with Isabella.
