Monster Maze Mania is a sandbox game based on Disney Channel shows, developed by Curious Media for the Disney website on October 1, 2011. Delivered for the Monstober occasion, it encourages players to unleash their sinister imaginations to form horrifying mazes.
Gameplay[]
A desolate haunted house backyard is prepared for the visitors to either fashion an innovative scene or infiltrate a shadowy museum supplying baffling levels carved by other users. Choosing to concoct guides them to a simple avatar mingler requiring a name, age, and state diminutive for the permanent pinpointing inside the inventions' segment. Building chunks can be dragged from their established buttons into the gloomy field to erect a labyrinth setting, which may be filled with barriers, portals, keys, masks, hazards, characters, creatures, sweets, and valuables.
Once the arena is complete, it is permitted for submission within the spooky ranks so that passerby players are able to experience the somber allure of the otherworldly maze. Designers could partake in dazing journeys from the listed community generations, hatching their icon at a semi-arbitrary point of the map, visible through a particular control. Disguised personalities must be unmasked before escaping to clear a stage, wherein moving is done with the arrow inputs to avoid perilous pitfalls and collect settled articles indexed on the side counter.

Background Information[]
- For the monstrous icons, there are six options dedicated to body pieces and six alternatives committed to head parts, totaling 36 achievable unique profiles entirely associated with popular beasts and ghouls.[1]
- Avatars are allowed to be switched at any moment via accessing the personage editor monitor in the main lobby. Similarly, concluded projects and obtained high scores can be viewed in their respective storage displays situated next to the revision dials.[1]
- Contrasting with the custom choices, the flooring makeup of the jinxed mansion is the only fixed module in the whole layout, staying as a sectioned lumber ground encompassing a perceptible lateral pattern.
- Aside from publishing a treacherous course, it is possible to preview a confusing warren to verify if it suits the architect's defined taste by way of test running the currently propped scary rooms in a self-appointed unrated playthrough.[1]
- Personal stats enumerated in the item marker are treats relating to goodies, treasures concerning the riches, scare points connected to boo masks, keys tied to the locks, mazes cumulatively created, and aggregated labyrinths played.
- During the scavenger hunt, objects garnered are concurrently summed to the loot partition catalog and to the individual scoreboard under a designated point amount, enabling the player to keep track of their records for disparate spaces.
- Paranormal entities and chocolate confectionery being the common souvenirs to scatter across the creative playground is a clear allusion to the Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating, predominantly involving both ingredients in its core.
- Precious resources dispatched around the eerie home landscape are gold tokens and glimmering stones, likely referencing the mystified pirate doubloons and the prevalent animated depiction of diamonds.
- One hundred distinct spawning locations are encoded internally to systematically bring the user into specific aisles of a chosen world, set by usage of horizontal and vertical coordinate axes implemented in a hidden manner on the dual dimension assembly grid.[1]
- Two kindred editions of the activity existed for 2011 and 2012, changing solely the represented series; the first included characters from Shake It Up, Wizards of Waverly Place, A.N.T. Farm, Phineas and Ferb, and So Random!, whereas the second added names from Austin & Ally, Gravity Falls, and Jessie.[1][2]
