"Mission Song" is a song sung to Perry the Platypus on his way to his lair from Lake Nose, which is an attraction named "Lair Entrance: The Ride" in the episode "The Lake Nose Monster".

You're gonna get a mission
A mission, a mission
A brand-new mission
What's it gonna be?

Go and get your mission
Your mission, your mission
A brand-new mission
We can't wait to see!

Background Information

  • Prior to the confirmation of the official title, this song was known as "Mission".
  • The song seems to be a parody of the ride at Disney World and Disneyland, Splash Mountain, which includes log-boats floating down a river and singing woodland animals. It is also a parody of It's A Small World, which includes singing animals, and at the end of the ride, they have farewells from different countries (the farewell is at the end in which it says "Aloha", which means "good bye" in Hawaiian).
  • This song was included in the Summer Vacation Summerizer after completing the Trivia-inator to unlock Agent P's secret lair.
  • The robotic animals made a brief appearance in "Rollercoaster: The Musical!".
  • It is also seen when Major Monogram and Carl are telling Perry that his entrances need to be more interesting ("Phineas' Birthday Clip-O-Rama!").
  • Monogram said most children under 5 years were favoring animatronic animals to a high bonus check, because that is the age of Perry.[1]

  • When the lyrics get to the first "A brand-new mission", the fox's head and arms disappear.
