The Misbehave-inator is a persona overruler built by Dr. Doofenshmirtz in a plot to obstruct a dog show to prove himself a victorious person.
History[]
Perry steps into the household lounge to access a secret passage obscured by a bookshelf, only to be met with a defective note urging him to use a separate path. Disheartened, the agent opts to trek through the foolproof staircase in the back, coming to face Monogram in a tired bearing for the operation overview. Reinvigorating the air, the major outlines the intel gathered on their opponent's latest endeavor to obtain a competitive canine for an upcoming contest, dispatching the platypus to the pinpointed pet store to effectuate a scrupulous perusal.
At the My Little Doggies shop, Doofenshmirtz is researching dog breeds by conversing with the vendor, when he perceives a different one from the rest on standby in the other side. Feeling close to the odd specimen, the doctor goes ahead and cuddles him, ignoring the owner's state of confusion concerning the distinct animal in what ensues a quick purchase. Heinz proceeds to discuss the symbolic anecdote to the newest plan related to the Danville Dog Show with the companion, narrating his inferiority to a game spitzenhoud on his father's part.
Relying on the tournament for his confidence, the distressed scientist takes the makeshift mammal into the decisive arena, assuring him that skill is not a necessity in the scheme, since he has built a gadget to wholly sabotage the event. He starts the uproar forthwith by shooting at a few of the participants, but Perry is able to catch the invention before the chaos is total. Ascending to the stadium rooftop, the spy secures a helicopter aimed to the suburbs, being clutched fleetingly until the doctor is dropped at the critter display ("Got Game?").
Design[]
The Misbehave-inator is a ray pistol structured with a purple truncated oval barrel, three lavender connector rings, a lime green conic back piece, a red oval mark, a black handle, a lime green cylindrical front sight, and a light gray antenna muzzle.
Mechanics[]
The Misbehave-inator is a behavioral reverser working from the concepts of neurological attitudes. Discharging a yellow beam, it modifies the behavior of any living organism affected to its absolute opposite, turning pleasant individuals into rascals and vice-versa by upturning the hormonal equilibrium on the target's frontal lobe.
Background Information[]
- Once he reaches headquarters, Perry hears the rationale from Major Monogram about the inconvenient access maintenance, learning that both the elevator and the slide-waxing personnel are currently on a corporate retreat, thus limiting the organization's rapid routes entirely.
- Monogram comments on the taco night celebration slated for him before the agent leaves the room, clearly expressing his happiness for being able to go home early for the day. Contrasting that, when Perry has to climb the stairwell to embark on the adventure, he shows a gloomy desolation.
- Querying the store owner on purebred show dogs, Doofenshmirtz has her presenting five purported award-winning breeds for him to choose from, spanning a multitude of colors, hair densities, and weights, a variety not captivating enough for the unorthodox evil scientist.
- The playful caressing done by an oblivious Doofenshmirtz to the disguised Perry consists in repeated "coochie-coochie-coo" compliments while patting the belly. Heinz manifests embarrassment after the fact when the spy's intricate camouflage is revealed to him amidst mayhem.
- Upon pointing out that the strange pet looks wildly different from a dog, the shop worker is faced with an indignant Heinz, who claims that she should not try to fool him and instead move on with the payment, in which the animal is offered for ten thousand dollars owing to the doctor's large alimony assertion.
- Doofenshmirtz divulges his past misery against his father's prized canine as his main motive, not wanting to be treated as less than a son anymore. This is interspersed with a recurrent remembrance of his bad luck as a lawn gnome, as a comparison to the family dog's hefty fortune.
- In a brief moment of introspection, the doctor admits to having a very weak self-esteem due to his past, in itself serving as a secondary fuel to the cutthroat plan. He subconsciously projects this on Perry by nervously affirming to the platypus not to feel pressurized like him in the field.
- An experimental run of the Misbehave-inator conducted by Doofenshmirtz comprehends three successive personality changes in dogs, namely one fiercely biting its trainer, another furiously digging a hole to bury their caretaker on, and a third treating the custodian as a subservient puppy.
- Chasing his nemesis, Doofenshmirtz climbs the rope pulley into the rooftop and jumps towards the fleeing helicopter, getting ahold of the spy's right feet. They propel a frenzy thereafter, firing several shots into random locations, one of which ends up hitting a downcast bully.
- Falling inside the pet store has Doofenshmirtz cause a chain reaction, wherein a startled woman bumps on a cat that instinctively runs out to the road, inducing a truck driver to lose control of his vehicle and smack a model globe into disrupting a launching rocket, thereby removing a sports stadium.
