"Between you and me, my popularity has plummeted to an all-time low. But everybody loves chocolate! What if I could recreate chocolate in my own image? Behold, the Melt-inator 6-5000! Powered by thousands of laser pointers!" — Doofenshmirtz[src] |
The Melt-inator 6-5000 is a softener shaft built by Dr. Doofenshmirtz to farm confections in a desire of achieving a recognition sweet spot.
History[]
Perry slinks away from his owners' frigid pastime to soak himself up on a spiraled hose lying forlornly in a corner of the house's backyard, surreptitiously using it as a means of sinking within his personalized office. Springing into action, the agent committedly listens to a concise briefing by Major Monogram concerning a questionable purchase of an abundant quantity of laser pointers on Doofenshmirtz's part for quite possibly a most malign ploy, alarming the perceptive platypus to make haste against the chilly heated hazard.
At the doctor's unconcealed hideout, he anxiously awaits his nemesis' arrival to enact a deathly fall, becoming stupefied once noticing Perry found a separate entrance. A sugary trap is activated to ensnare the spy, allowing Doofenshmirtz to warmly publicize the latest dastardly scheme, congenitally related to the increasing disparity between his tainted popularity and the general tasting of chocolate. Hoping to blend the two together, he has concocted a candy processor so that liquefied cocoa can be converted to a delicious snack on his image.
Following a backstory recount to the congealed agent, Doofenshmirtz sets forth his plan of securing the contents stored in the largest sweets bar, currently traversing the downtown zone. Lack of a resistance puts the scientist in a weird predicament, since moving forward is tedious without constant animosity. Suddenly, the scuffling wish comes true upon Perry's devour unchaining, unfolding a target mishap for a station wagon. In one last try, the doctor resolves to plug the big power cord in, fostering a wide blackout ("S'Winter").
Design[]
The Melt-inator 6-5000 is a laser shooter made out of a light purple circular base, a lavender extendable mast, a light purple u-shaped mount, a light purple barrel, a lime oval "D.E.Inc" logo, two lavender circular edge encrustings, a lavender suspended circular mark, a light purple cylindrical cane, a lavender truncated cone tip, a brown rope envelope of optical pens, and a lavender hand glass frame. It is monitored remotely through a purple arcade panel engulfing two colorful meters, a round red lever, and an orange button.
Mechanics[]
The Melt-inator 6-5000 is a radiation heater based on the inner workings of laser devices. Pervaded with thousands of light emitters, it is capable of diffusing an amplified baking beam hot enough to spontaneously dissolve all cocoa compounds, transfering them from confectioneries into an underground minecart circuit adjoined to the refuge fabric, where they are chemically mixed with a fish school within a tube system, finalizing the manufacturing on a conveyor belt containing compressors to shape the novel substance as desired.
Background Information[]
- The Melt-inator 6-5000's naming is likely an allusion to the telephone service PEnnsylvania 6-5000 owned by the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City, known from the eponymous song.
- Major Monogram's report identifies an order of 18,000 laser apparatuses on Doofenshmirtz's name, the precise number equipped in the device.
- Expecting Perry's breaking through the front door, Doofenshmirtz sets up an elevated piano contraption to be let loose after the gate is pushed, dropping the instrument alongside a dramatic player on a red "X" sign in the floor. This is a nod to the slapstick gag of a heavy musical piece being plunged at someone's head for amusing injuries.
- Doofenshmirtz had apparently told his maid Nancy to shut the back door in preparation for his rival's arrival. Her uncompliance instigates him to record a note for a boot out the next day, serving as the forthcoming bad deed.
- Before Perry can utilize a grappling hook, Doofenshmirtz pulls a compartment storing a special chocolate recipe personally developed to be a quick-hardening imprisonment as a first trap. A succeeding confinement is later impromptly put together out of a sticky string can.
- The doctor's recent acclaim trends are shown in a slider appropriately dubbed "Shmirtz-o-Graph", featuring the levels "low", "lower", and "ouch!".
- According to Doofenshmirtz, his invention possesses a melting capacity of seven in a scale of one to five, rendering it an extremely potent defroster.
- A long monologue to himself results in Doofenshmirtz feeling very distraught, prompting a forceful redo of the whole story and schematic.
- The World's Largest Chocolate Bar is seen in the video feed as an 8x6 rectangle fixed on top of a huge bobtail truck headed to the Smithsonian. In reality, the biggest chocolate piece by area, produced in the Netherlands, occupies an expanse of .
- Readying to fire, the scientist begins a countdown from five, slowing down on it to see if Perry reacts to his doings. He adds the fractions 2 1/2, 2 1/4, 1 1/2, and 1/4 to the mix, after the latter of which he is kicked in the face by the agent.
- Now pressed, the doctor tries to re-aim the machine with a manual wheel, but is stopped by an overcharging module triggered by the platypus. It luckily hits the family car of the Flynn-Fletchers, who have supplementary tires to replace the flattened ones.
- Oddly, the creation successfully snipes amidst a chaotic conflict, even though it is disclosed soon afterwards to not actually be plugged in.
- The Melt-inator 6-5000 is one of the despicable creations displayed by Heinz in his attempt of impressing Dr. Gevaarlijk ("Oil on Candace").
