| "Mark: What a great day for sky tennis, huh, Markus? Markus: Or "skennis" as the locals call it, Mark." — Markus and Mark[src] |
Markus and Mark are twin sports announcers who narrate the kids' game of sky tennis.
Biography[]
Phineas and Ferb set up a zipline system to play sky tennis as part of a plan to make their recent bad luck fun. On the roof of a building, Markus and Mark narrate the gang's game in a play-by-play format. Phineas passes the ball to Baljeet, whose line snaps, leaving Isabella to hit it while he returns to his line with an airbag.
Later, Ferb is to make a move, but his racket's string falls, to the announcers' surprise. He is able to recover and launch the ball in Isabella's direction, in which a wire snaps, forcing her to use a booster to cross the gap. In the middle of their commentary, Markus and Mark are interrupted by a janitor, who questions if they are allowed to work there. The two lie about having a permit and run off, before they can get caught ("Just Our Luck").
Physical appearance[]
Markus is light-skinned and has brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a beige shirt, a dark blue-grey jacket with three dark grey buttons, a magenta tie, dark blue-grey pants, and dark grey shoes with grey details.

Personality[]
They are enthusiastic and meddlesome. They excitedly comment on the kids' game, adding emphasis on the unlucky occasions. Despite providing good commentary, they trespass a public place to do so.
Relationships[]
Each other[]
They seem to be close to each other, being rather synchronized while announcing the match and running away.
Kids[]
They know who the kids are and are fond of their activity, poking fun at and narrating it.
Public[]
They appear to be often seen as uninvited nuisances, seeing as they have to make use of others' places to do their job.
Background Information[]
- Markus and Mark are presumably amateur announcers, given that they don't have a production truck or an official studio. By appropriating the property of others, they are committing trespass to land, which can be judged as a crime.
- According to Markus, the locals refer to sky tennis as "skennis", a portmanteau of the two words in the sport's name.
- It is unknown how Markus and Mark know of the kids.
- Their names are intentionally alliterative, as a play on the "Theme Twin Naming" trope.
- Markus and Mark are based on and voiced by the Sklar Brothers, whose guest appearances were revealed by Jeff "Swampy" Marsh on Twitter on September 6, 2012.[1]
- Much like their voice actors, Markus and Mark are identical twins.
