Jennifer L. Hughes is an American voice actor. For Phineas and Ferb, she voices the Farmer's wife in several episodes including "Leave the Busting to Us!" and "Put That Putter Away", as well as the woman with pearls in "Meatloaf Surprise", and Ruth in "Primal Perry". She also co-wrote Isabella's Birthday Song for the episode "Happy Birthday, Isabella".


According to her IMDB autobiography, Ms. Hughes is a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts Class of 1986 and studied acting. Before becoming a voice actress, she worked on productions at several animation companies including Warner Brothers, Amblin Entertainment, Universal Studios, Duck Soup Produckions and Disney. Her acting career includes small roles in the 80s and 90s and thus began to do voice over work in animation and commercials, and appeared in two films starring Earnest Borgnine all while moonlighting as an infant apparel designer/manufacturer for the Stylease brand that she launched at her company, Liloebe LLC, in 2003. Hughes lived in Traverse City, Michigan from 2000 until 2007 and returned to Los Angeles thereafter with her husband Robert, a director on the Phineas and Ferb series in its' first two seasons and owner of an animation studio, along with their two children.
