| "You may have tied me up next to this- what is this a beaver or something? and pitched me a TV series against my will, not to mention holding up the autograph line, but my advance TV executive instincts tell me your show is going to be a big hit!" — Jeff McGarland to Dr. Doofenshmirtz.[src] |
Jeff McGarland is a TV executive producer who was tied up by Heinz Doofenshmirtz and forced to watch a pitch for "Doof 'N' Puss".
Present life[]
During the Science fiction and Fantasy convention, Jeff was forced to view a pitch for "Doof 'N' Puss" by Dr. Doofenshmirtz. He criticized Doofenshmirtz for adding a giant monster to the ending, but changed his mind when a giant monster (actually special effects) appeared at the convention. Because of this, McGarland exclaimed to Doof that he's impressed by the pitch and that his potential TV show will be a big hit, much to Doofenshmirtz's delight. However, when Jeff suggested giving Perry's character a girlfriend, Doofenshmirtz decides he doesn't want that and furiously left. Jeff then decided to make a new show based on Doofenshmirtz's idea called "The Platypus and His Girlfriend" ("Nerds of a Feather").
