"There's our new pet Goldie! I wonder if we're as cute to her as she is it to us. (pauses) Yeah, yeah we are."

Goldie is Phineas and Ferb's new pet goldfish. She is the main attraction of Goldie's Aqueous Extravaganza, an aquarium show created by her owners.

Biography[]

Phineas admires Goldie and wonders what he could do for her, when Ferb pulls out a blueprint for an aquarium to serve as the fish's new home. After building it, they realize that it is lonely and decide to get friends for Goldie, searching in the ocean for marine life. With animals in the tank, Phineas introduces them to the goldfish, who is eaten and sprayed out by an orca. Inspired by the trick, Phineas has the idea to host an animal show.

Phineas presents Goldie's Aqueous Extravaganza to an audience in the backyard. As the show is about to begin, Candace falls from the backyard tree while trying to take a photo. She is flipped around by a dolphin, which gets chased by an orca carrying Goldie. The goldfish and Candace continue to do various tricks, entertaining the public. Following the grand finale, the boys observe Goldie and her friends heading to the ocean ("Backyard Aquarium").

Physical appearance[]

Goldie is a gold-colored goldfish with orange striped fins and light yellow scleras. She is kept in a water bag so the boys can carry her around.

Personality[]

She is playful and docile. She enjoys playing with other animals, and is easily domesticated by Phineas and Ferb.

Relationships[]

Phineas and Ferb[]

The boys like their goldfish, watching her until she moves away. Goldie happily partakes in the boys' aquarium show, demonstrating her abilities to the audience.

Animals[]

She quickly befriends the animals Phineas and Ferb find for her, choosing to live with them in the ocean after the show is finished.

Background Information[]

  • She is the second goldfish to appear in the show, after Biff.
  • She is the third known pet of Phineas and Ferb, after Perry and Bucky. Details of how the boys obtained Goldie aren't known.
  • Goldfish, being freshwater fish, cannot survive in saltwater, as they would dehydrate via osmosis. Because of this, it is likely that Goldie goes to a freshwater body close by the ocean.
