The giant squid is a creature lurking in the ocean off Danville's coast. It attacks Phineas and Ferb's submarine and nearly eats Biff, but is stopped by Buford who subdues the animal with a single punch ("Voyage to the Bottom of Buford").
Buford finds himself in yet another tussle against this squid in an unseen attempt to harvest seaweed from the ocean ("Spa Day").
