The Frozen Yogurt Machine is a frozen dessert producer built by Phineas and Ferb to have cool delicacies for the rest of the summer.
History[]
Phineas and Ferb contemplate their newly-constructed yogurt device, having picked up a bowl to eat some of the frozen dessert. While they taste the delicacy, a chameleon appears in the backyard. Phineas offers it a bit of his portion, but the animal rejects it, not wanting to eat food different from its usual diet. To satisfy the small reptile, Ferb takes the nearby mushrooms to feed it, forming a new friend in the process.
Naming it Steve, the boys and Isabella set out to find more meals for the chameleon, who ends up growing to a gigantic size thanks to an accidental external misfire. The giant creature begins to run rampant, destroying the dessert machine before stomping through downtown. In the meantime, Candace drags her mother to see the invention, only to find a huge footprint in its place ("The Lizard Whisperer").
Design[]
The Frozen Yogurt Machine is a device with three grey rectangular sections and one grey cylindrical part. The upper piece is the main body of the structure, containing a pink yogurt symbol in the center, two teal panels with blue, purple, and green oval marks, and a cooler-esque space on top. The bottom segment serves as the base and flavor output, with the same colored markings stamped within. Linking the gadget together are two parts connected to red tubes; the rightmost one is also attached to a dark blue pipe.
Mechanics[]
The Frozen Yogurt Machine is a dessert producer with a large storage of ingredients. Activating it results in these being mixed and processed to yield frozen yogurt portions, which can be retrieved in the bottom part.
Background Information[]
- According to Phineas, the machine is sufficiently potent to produce desserts for the entire summer.
- Two of the flavors available to concoct are chocolate and strawberry, as experimented by the boys. Based on the fact that the device has three output ducts, it presumably has another possible flavor; likely vanilla, to parallel a Neapolitan ice cream.
- Prior to eating the yogurt, Ferb has his spoon behind his ear, similarly to how some people put pencils in the same area for easy accessibility.
- A recreation of the Frozen Yogurt Machine is used to repel Doofenshmirtz-2's invasion of the Tri-State Area (Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension).
- In the game Robot Riot!, the Frozen Yogurt Machine is unlocked in Area 1 to be purchased with 25 gears.
