Football X-7 is an advanced version of football. The game was theorized by Professor Ross Eforp. Although, as he was unable to create the stadium required to play, he went into hiding for the rest of his life. Years after the initial concept was conceived, the stadium was finally successfully constructed by Phineas and Ferb. The first people to ever play the game were Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Baljeet, Buford and some of Ferb's cousins. The stadium is now owned by the Snifferton Nostrils.
The naming system was later used for Hockey Z-9.
Known Participants[]
Origin[]
The game was invented by Professor Ross Eforp in the 1950s, but he was only able to create the concept of the game. After several failed attempts, plus the realization that the professor's name was a palindrome, Eforp went into hiding and his dream was forgotten.
In the present day, Phineas and Ferb decided to accept a football challenge from the latter's cousins and upgrade it to a Football X-7 match. They successfully built a Football X-7 stadium and held the first (and only known) match inside it.
Gameplay[]
Football X-7 is played in a special stadium that allows the players to climb up the walls and the center column. Goals hover in the middle of the stadium, allowing players to score from all directions. If the ball hits the paddles inside the goal, the goal is considered scored.
The game is 90 minutes long, the same as a regular soccer game.
Buford, however thought they were talking about a different sport referred to as "Football" inside of America, so he tackled various members of the English team.
Aftermath[]
The success of the game briefly brought Professor Eforp out of hiding. As for the stadium itself, the boys gave it to the Snifferton Nostrils, a visiting British football team.
Background Information[]
- A background character says that a recently-won American football game is like Football X-7 in an episode of Milo Murphy's Law, "Rooting for the Enemy".
