"Wintertime's fun! Follow me!" — Snowman[src] |
The snowman is a snow sculpture who guides others to have fun in the winter.
Biography[]
On his way to his hideout, Perry finds a top hat next to a snowman. He throws it on top of the sculpture, which comes to life. The snow figure invites the platypus to follow him, but ends up taking part in an accident. His carrot nose lands next to Perry, who takes it for Major Monogram to eat as a snack. In a second encounter, Perry tries to warn the snowman about the incoming snowplow. A vegetable cart is knocked down, revealing that the fallen carrot belonged to it. The snow figure, seeing the mess, tells Perry not to go along with him ("Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation!").
Physical appearance[]
As an inanimate sculpture, the snowman has two coal eyes, a carrot nose, five black buttons that emulate a mouth, a red scarf with a white "x" pattern, three black buttons in its body, and a grey top hat with a black stripe.
When he is alive, the snowman has a blue mouth, a light blue tongue, arms, and legs.
Personality[]
He is cheerful and clumsy. He quickly infects Perry with his jolly mood. Walking, he seems to not pay attention to his surroundings, being frequenly caught up in accidents.
Relationships[]
Perry[]
Perry is happy to see and accompany the snowman. When he meets the snow figure again, he tries to warn him of the plow that is approaching.
Other people[]
The snowplow driver is confused by the snowman's appearance, while the vegetable vendor is only concerned with his cart.

Background Information[]
- The snowman is based on Frosty the Snowman, a character from the Christmas carol of the same name by Walter Rollins and Steve Nelson. A variation of it is performed by Major Monogram and Carl in Phineas and Ferb Holiday Favorites.
- The original Frosty is depicted with a button nose and a corncob pipe, both of which are absent in the episode. The nose was presumably changed to make the snowman have the classic look and to fit the gag; and the pipe was likely removed to avoid allusions to smoking.
- The snowman's scene was first previewed in the Phineas and Ferb Podcast.
- The snowman's gag is referenced in "Christmas is Starting Now", with the line "Sometimes I feel like a big snowman that's fallen under a plow".
- When the snowman appears as a sculpture for the second time, he does not have a scarf.
