Ferb Latin is a language created by Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher that is similar to Pig Latin. The language catches on and spreads rapidly throughout Danville.
Rules[]
Ferb Latin is fun and simple to learn. To speak it, one must move the first letter of every word to the end of the word and add 'erb'. Additional rules are stated in the song. In addition to speaking the language, there are a lot of non-verbal cues associated with it, and one and two letter words stay the same.
- Crack your knuckles if you are hungry.
- To say okay, you reach to the sky.
- To say goodbye, you blow a raspberry.
- Instead of saying "bless you" when somebody sneezes, blow a flugelhorn and give away your left shoe.
- Stomp your feet when you meet somebody on the street (Use like a handshake).
- Showing "Jazz hands" serves as an indication that one is carrying an offensive smell.
- Give a slab of meat away to complete a conversation.
Awareness[]
The language began spreading when the boys and the rest of the group were ordering ice cream in the language. People nearby immediately showed interest in learning the language. After they were taught its basics it caught on quickly and dominated Danville for a period of time.
However, a few people failed to learn the language. Candace, who had fallen asleep during a massage when the spread of the language started was one of them. Linda was another. She completely failed to catch a notion of its existence as she had spent much of the day in her "Sensory Deprivation Tank". Doofenshmirtz, who was occupied attempting to take over the Tri-State Area, had also failed to learn of it. ("Ferb Latin")
The awareness of the language ultimately came to an end when Doofenshmirtz was annoyed by Norm speaking the language that much, and asked him to talk normal. This in turn caused Norm to spew out pamphlets reading "Talk Normal", causing anyone who caught it to go back to speaking their normal language.

Background information[]
- Rules of the language differ in some other language versions.
- In the Czech dubbing, you don't "take the first letter of every word, move it to the end and then say -erb", but instead you insert "-ferb-" between the first and second syllable of every word.
Error[]
- Phineas said the language was safe for vegetarians, but the song said, "And your conversation won't be complete, 'til you give them a big slab of meat."
- However, they're not actually eating the meat, they're just handing it to them.
- Phineas says the rule of Ferb Latin is to move the first letter to the end of the word and say "-erb", while translating the word "snake" as "Nake-serb". However, whenever the characters speak it, they move all the consonants before the first vowel to the end and then adding "-erb", like in real Pig Latin. Thus, the word should technically spell "Ake-snerb".
- Although Phineas said two letter words stay the same, the man talking to Candace translates "Excuse me" as "Use-excerb e-merb".
