"Since it's our last day of summer, we're thinking a grand finale is in order. Show 'em the blueprints, Ferb."
Phineas[src]

The Everything Ride is a composite slide built by Phineas and Ferb as a suitable ultimate conclusion to their outstanding summer vacation.

History[]

Phineas and Ferb ready themselves for the closing day of the summer vacation, expeditiously hovering across the neighborhood to gather their friends in favor of one last project. Stopping in the backyard, the boys waste no time in declaring their idea as usual, by that awakening a vibrant Candace to a final opportunity for busting. Faced with her awkward support, the kids get on with their plans in a highly energetic mood fueled by retrospective, giving way to the presentation of a proper grand finale through a big set of blueprints.

Some time later, the gang completes the ultimate invention, described by Phineas and Ferb to the others as a showcase of the whole essence of sunny freedom. They move on to test drive it in anticipation of figuring out if its fun potential exceeds that of all past creations, tightly strapping their bodies for the greatest adrift exploit. Predictably, the ride draws Candace's attention, stirring yet another grounding attempt from her, which is rendered null because of the boys compressing their structure into a drafting board for an upgrade session.

Confounded, Candace changes her schedule to hand back borrowed DVDs owned by a confidant, meeting the father of whom in the process. The two bond over their shared frustrations, having a back-and-forth that leads the teenager onto an unfinished device of his reportedly capable of unwinding time. Activating it, she redoes the events from the past hours, eagerly seizing them in hopes of achieving her goal, only to repeatedly fail owing to her evocation generating undesired innovations in the brothers' construction ("Last Day of Summer").

Design[]

The Everything Ride is an aggregate mashup of every imaginable activity in a silver double truncated cone sustained by three segmented silver cylindrical posts. Its exterior design encompasses many famous models, zany items, and avant-garde formations surrounded by tubes of green, purple, red, pink, blue, and yellow hues. Internally, it incorporates a plethora of colorful slides and pipeways linked together via automated attractions in between, variously traversed using red cars, a movable pie, a convertible baseball, and miscellaneous wagons.

Mechanics[]

The Everything Ride is a continuous joyride geared towards an extreme level of directionless diversion. Users access it upon turning on a lever, sucking them inside bright pipes leading to a slide-bounce momentum combo for a series of tracks. Passing a round duct, they advance through a rotated house, a shifting treadmill, a flytrap ingestion, a disc break, a spiral typhoon, a transference chamber, a fruity pieing, a munching tract, a batting boot, a skew baller, a carting coaster, a beach roll, a water tide, a magnet pull, and a parachute descent.

Background Information[]

  • This is the last regular Big Idea of the series' original run.
  • In a blueprint opened during the initial montage, the ride, represented by a question mark, is compared in size to several known buildings, namely the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Gateway Arch, the Space Needle, the Eiffel Tower, Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, the Empire State Building, and the CN Tower.
  • Contrary to his companions' desire to enjoy the remainder of their break to the fullest, Baljeet is actively looking forward to the first day of school. He is forced to retract his studying viewpoint to smoothly go along with the others.
  • Isabella, contemplating the beginning of the final adventure, reminisces on the early moments of the season, more specifically the very start with the cool rollercoaster.
  • When Ferb opens the huge blueprint for all to see, Buford believes it to be lacking in element, being pleasantly surprised with the reveal of an extra sketch layer.
  • Reacting to the finished product, Isabella exclaims that it is most certainly a mega invention worthy of a grandiose culmination. Buford shares the thought, firmly hugging the boys in an unexpected showing of friendly affection, much to his disturbance.
  • Phineas proclaims the necessity of trying out the construction to definitely prove its splendor. To that, Buford implies the best manner of doing so, which is interpreted to be riding it instead of the intended focus group testing.
  • Among the external artifacts in the structure are replicas of the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, the Space Needle, an indigo ship, a hand holding a green apple, two clown heads, a bowling pin set, a blue turbine, and a purple flying saucer.
  • Within the scrambled home segment, passengers can climb on hooks, ropes, and tricycles amidst a rogue baseball and a random pink elephant.
  • The treadmill changes everyone but Buford into realistic versions and adds their voice actors' heads, with the bully receiving an octopus transformation since his performer is the least alike the character in terms of appearance. Similarly, he gets to mount a pig alternatively to an ostrich along the beach ball.
  • A mini android George Washington cuts down the cherry tree connected to the pie, referencing the tale regarding the Founding Father's act of chopping down such a sapling with a hatchet.
  • Carts ridden in the coaster section include classroom desks, a wheeled hot dog, a dragon boat, a swan, a dragonfly, and a slipping soap.
  • Based on Baljeet's gauging, the ride attained a nearly unanimous appreciation, the exception lying on Buford's indication of possessing further improvement suggestions. Phineas and Ferb fold up their creation to work on those, perplexing their friends with the action's literalness.
  • While Candace is basking on the glory of chances, the gang is seen assembling a part of the complex combination; Phineas inspects the plans, Ferb and Baljeet work on the tubing, and Isabella and Buford screw the concrete bars.
  • Candace's accidental enhancement ideas to her siblings are a levitating contraption and a sci-fi machinery. Four other failures are shown afterwards, featuring her shouldering Linda, sliding through the backyard gate, dressing as a clown, and rolling her sumo-costumed mother.
