"Double Dutch Song" is a dance-pop techno song from "When Worlds Collide". The song is played after Perry sets off the Double Dutch Machine by breaking the laser "tripwire" and seems to repeat indefinitely until the skipping person fails to jump in time.
Lyrics[]
Episode Version[]
Volgen nu!
One dutch, two dutch
Queens of the double dutch
We skip better than you by that much
Watch our feet; our moves are sweet
Our double dutchin' won't be beat
One dutch, two dutch
Queens of the double dutch
We skip better than you by that much
Watch our feet; our moves are sweet
Our double dutchin' won't be beat
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!
One dutch, two dutch
Queens of the double dutch
Extended Version[]
Volgen nu!
One dutch, two dutch, queens of the double dutch
We skip better than you by that much
Can we jump up? We can jump up!
Over, under, we know what's up.
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!
Robots turnin', ropes are burnin'
All our steps are quite discernin'
Watch our feet; our moves are sweet
Our double dutchin' won't be beat
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!
One dutch, two dutch, queens of the double dutch
We skip better than you by that much
Can we jump up? We can jump up!
Over, under, we know what's up.
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!
Touwtje springen, wat leuk!

Background Information[]
- Due to the name of the Double Dutch game, several Dutch terms have been added into the song: Volgen nu is Dutch for "Follow now", a command from the song to begin skipping; touwtje springen is Dutch for "jumping rope", and wat leuk is Dutch for "what fun" or "how fun".
- Volgen nu would actually be grammatically incorrect in Dutch; it instead should've been volg nu.
