| “ | Hey, if I can get everyone in town to exercise, I can tap into all this free electricity, store up the surplus and use it to take over the Tri-State Area! | ” |
— Heinz Doofenshmirtz | ||
Doof converts his building into a gym, to harvest energy generated by exercising to power his latest creation. Meanwhile, the kids build and operate a boat that works on solid ground.
Episode Summary[]
The episode opens at Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, where Doofenshmirtz's newest inator, the End-All-Be-All-inator, causes a power outage in his building. Vanessa complains that her hair dryer doesn't work, and Norm's smoothie-making is interrupted. When Doof ventures to reset the circuit, he finds a man powering a treadmill entirely by running. Inspired, he realizes he can harness human energy to power his inator.
He soon opens Doofnasium, a free fitness center where citizens' workouts secretly power his device. A tongue-in-cheek infomercial, featuring Vanessa, Norm, and a melodramatic song parodying charity ads, encourages people to join. The musical number celebrates the gym's free membership while revealing Doof's true motive: using exercise energy to take over the Tri-State Area.
Meanwhile, at the Flynn-Fletcher house, Phineas and the gang build the Asphalt Wave, a boat that can temporarily turn streets into liquid so they can "boat the boulevards." They are inspired by Candace and Jeremy's lake date—though Candace specifically told them not to follow. As the boys sail through town, Candace spots them and begins a chaotic chase with Jeremy, hoping to bust her brothers. Their pursuit becomes increasingly wild, as Candace and Jeremy's boat becomes a waterski and culminates in a call to Linda, who's distracted at Bobbi's Hair Emporium.
Back at Doofnasium, Perry infiltrates the gym and discovers the inator being powered by all the workout equipment. Doof traps Perry on a stationary bike, forcing him to pedal, but Perry's efforts overload the power grid. When Doof tries to burn off the excess energy by plugging in appliances, everything short-circuits, triggering a citywide power surge.
The surge disrupts the Asphalt Wave, sinking their craft just as Candace nearly succeeds in showing their invention to Mom. Linda's hair frizzes from the power overload, blinding her and missing the boys entirely. In the chaos, Doof's inator explodes, foiling his plan. Linda comes out of the salon to find nothing except the kids, Candace, and Jeremy on the sidewalk.
In the tag scene, the Farmer and his Wife have moved underground, and the Wife complains about lacking a boat on their subterranean lake. Just then, the Asphalt Wave crashes through the ceiling and lands perfectly in the water, to the Farmer's delight.

Background Information[]
- End All be All is a idiom meaning the ultimate or most important thing in particular context.
Production Information[]
International Premieres[]
Errors[]
- Despite doing so, Candace is not allowed to bust her brothers while on a date with Jeremy or when Linda is at the beauty salon, according to the "Bust Accord" in "When Worlds Collide". However, this might have changed between the summers, as the said episode was from the previous summer vacation.
- The same continuity error happens in "No Slumber Party" ignoring the bust accord when Candace attempts to bust her brothers for a second time in the same day at nighttime.
- When the Asphault Wave passed by Bobbi's and Linda misses, it comes to a stop to the left of the salon that still can be seen out the window, but somehow Linda didn't see it.
Continuity[]
- Doof having too many extension cords is brought up again ("Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel").
- Bobbi compliments Linda 'You look fabulous', a nod to his surname and the song "Fabulous" ("Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together").
Allusions[]
- ASPCA - At one point, Doof's commercial spoofs the infamous commercials featuring sad abused dogs and cats set to the tune of Sarah McLachlan's "Angel".
Trivia[]
- This is the third time Doof's inator overloads the power grid ("S'Winter", "Blackout!").
- This is the first episode of the revival and the seventh episode altogether to begin at Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc. ("Hail Doofania!", "A Real Boy", "The Remains of the Platypus", "When Worlds Collide", "Blackout!", "Der Kinderlumper").
- This is the twelfth time the word "Doof" is in the episode name ("Hail Doofania!", "The Doof Side of the Moon", "Doof Dynasty", "Agent Doof", "Doofapus", "Doof 101", "Deconstructing Doof", "The Ballad of Bubba Doof", "Doof in Retrograde", "Bend It Like Doof", "Dooflicated"). It is the 13th if "Doof's Day Out" from Milo Murphy's Law is also considered.
- Linda misses seeing the big idea due to something covering her eyes ("Bubble Boys", "The Belly of the Beast", "Lotsa Latkes").
- This is the second episode where a inator doesn't know what it dose ("Bad Hair Day").
