The Chicken Replace-inator is an inator created by Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Whatever it hits by default switches place with the nearest chicken, though the model shown in Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe has other settings, including "Furthest Chicken", "Beverly Hills", and "Beverly Hills Adjacent".

History[]

"What A Croc!"[]

In "What A Croc!" Doofenshmirtz invents the Chicken Replace-inator to replace his brother Roger's second straight "Mayor of the Year" award with a chicken the moment he receives it, which he anticipates will also make everyone laugh at Roger because of how funny chickens are. He is thwarted by Perry the Platypus, who shoves a rubber chicken into the inator's mouth, causing it to explode, and leaving Doof in a room full of chickens.

"Deconstructing Doof"[]

It is mentioned on Dr. Shamai's conspiracy board.

Milo Murphy's Law[]

The Chicken Replace-inator appears alongside many of Doofenshmirtz's other old inators in the episode "The Goulash Legacy".

It later reappears as a small handheld model in the Season 2 Finale "Sphere and Loathing in Outer Space".

Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the Universe[]

In the film, Doof brings a handheld version of the inator with him when he and Phineas and The Gang go into space to rescue Candace and Vanessa from Feebla-Oot. But Isabella does not think they will need it. It is used on Feebla-Oot to get rid of one of the dragon-like native creatures that was chasing Doofenshmirtz and the kids, and later to transport Heinz, Vanessa, Perry the Platypus, and Vlorkel back to Earth (with the device set to "furthest chicken", as there was already one chicken on the planet). Ultimately, Candace uses the inator on the rampaging Mama plant (and Super Super Big Doctor, whom Mama had eaten) to transport her back to Feebla-Oot in the place of one of the chickens already there.

Chibiverse[]

In the episode "Dr. Doof's Lab", Cricket Green from Big City Greens finds the Chicken Replace-inator & accidentally shoots Marco Diaz from Star vs. the Forces of Evil with it, which swaps the latter with one of the nearest chickens from Chibi Farms. Later when seeing Marco encouraging his own Doofaloofas to stand up for their rights, Doofenshmirtz shoots the teen with the Chicken Replace-inator to get of him.
