Buford's Candace Suit comes to life and tries to take over the real Candace's life.
Episode Summary[]
The episode opens with Candace yet again failing to bust her brothers who have just finished creating the world's biggest banana cream pie. After her mother leaves, Isabella mentions the abundance of banana peels, leading Buford to suggest growing a giant banana and building a giant peeler to make future pie-making easier, which Phineas enthusiastically agrees to.
Meanwhile, at his lair, Major Monogram informs Agent P that Doofenshmirtz is surprisingly not planning anything evil. Perry is put on standby.
In Candace's room, she bemoans her "worst life ever" to Stacy on the phone, upset that Jeremy is late. Unbeknownst to her, Jeremy is at Slushy Dawg, forced to wear a wiener dog costume and dance in the heat. He decides to quit and call Candace, but before he can, a shadowy figure emerges and attempts to devour him. This figure is revealed to be the Candace Suit, last seen in the episode of the same name, which was zapped by Doof's inator. Jeremy manages to escape, and the suit then encounters Doofenshmirtz, who it also attempts to devour. Doof tries to evade it but is ultimately swallowed whole by the suit.
Jeremy, shaken, returns to the Flynn-Fletcher house and explains his encounter to Candace, describing the suit as looking like her. Linda then picks up the Candace Suit (with Doof trapped inside), mistaking it for the real Candace. The suit, now able to speak in a gravelly voice, affirms its identity as "Candace."
The real Candace returns with a blanket for Jeremy and discovers the imposter. A chaotic fight ensues between the two Candaces, confusing Jeremy. The fight spills into the backyard where Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet are operating their giant banana peeler. The gang quickly identifies the real Candace by her immediate attempt to bust her brothers. The Candace Suit escapes, slips on a banana peel, and spits out a bewildered Doofenshmirtz, who leaves.
The gang, including Candace, realizes the suit is alive and attempts to stop it before it harms anyone else. They pursue the sentient suit throughout Danville, leading to a musical chase sequence ("All Skin-No Bone"). Candace corners the suit in an alley, and they fight again. The real Candace is ultimately swallowed by the suit, making it a "perfect fit."
The next day, the Candace Suit, now with Candace trapped inside, acts unusually well-behaved, fooling Linda and momentarily the boys. Jeremy, however, notices the suit's odd behavior and alerts Phineas and Ferb. They use the giant banana peeler to free Candace from the suit.
Buford then reveals he can "speak" Candace Suit and translates its backstory: it's been lonely and searching for connection since gaining sentience, trying to fit in and change its appearance, until it found a human host. Candace empathizes, realizing she takes her own life for granted. However, the suit then tries to devour Ferb, prompting the gang to decide they need to find a safe place for it. Buford suggests Klimpaloon, the Magical Old-Timey Bathing Suit That Lives in the Himalayas, as a companion.
The episode concludes with the gang trekking to the Himalayas, where the Candace Suit and Klimpaloon meet and immediately fall in love, "suited" for each other.
