“ | Oh that's our sister. Our...hee hee... big sister. | ” |
— Phineas Flynn |
Phineas and Ferb help Baljeet with his Festival contest entry for the biggest watermelon using a growth elixir they created which Candace uses to increase her height in order to be the next Flawless Girl after secretly stealing it from them when finding out that she wasn't tall enough to be one without their knowledge or consent, only to accidentally become a giant. Elsewhere, with the Festival's annoyance, Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans to cover the Festival with the "worst smell in the history of mankind".
Episode Summary[]
Candace and Stacy are watching television in Candace's room. Stacy reads from a Flawless Girl magazine, which also just so happens to be what they were watching on television from a commercial, that the Flawless Girl founder, Blanca Dishon, will be at the Midsummer's Festival later today to search for the next Flawless Girl. Candace feels confident that she might have a shot at being the next Flawless Girl, feeling like that she'd be lost without it giving her some pointers on how to look, so she decides to head to the festival and try out for herself. Outside in the streets, Phineas and Ferb see the Midsummer's Festival trucks driving by before they get a signal from Baljeet. He asks them to help him grow his shrunken watermelon at the Midsummer's Festival since they helped him build his portal to Mars. Phineas agrees to help him and tells Ferb that they're going to the festival and to grab his Jr. Chemistry Set he got for Bastille Day.
Perry enters his lair through a koi pond along with three other fish, whom Major Monogram hires as secret agents. He tells Perry to go see Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb meet Baljeet at the Midsummer's Festival where he shows them how small his watermelon was and states how it not only mocks him also how it brings shame to his family as well. Phineas tells Ferb that it was time for a little chemistry and he then takes out his chemistry set as he and Phineas begin to create a Growth elixir to help grow Baljeet's watermelon. Candace arrives at the festival elsewhere to find the Flawless Girl booth and meets P. P. Otter, founder of the Oddball show, which is a freak show, as he offers to help make her feel better about herself by explaining that she can pay five dollars to see his oddballs, but tells him that she doesn't need his help as she's got the Flawless Girl cosmetics to make herself feel good. While walking to try and find the Flawless Girl booth, she comes across Phineas, Ferb and Baljeet as they were about to pour the growth elixir on Baljeet's Watermelon and questions them about what they are up to with Phineas explaining that they are gonna help Baljeet win the biggest watermelon contest. But when they put a drop on Baljeet's watermelon as she watches, it only grows a few inches. This makes Candace laugh and calls them "giant nerds" as she assumes that's all it did despite knowing that Phineas and Ferb have regularly accomplish the impossible with big and grand inventions before walking away, but didn't realize that it hadn't taken full effect yet as Phineas and Ferb were giving it time to grow with Baljeet feeling like that it wouldn't work and wanting to put up shame curtains due to this with Phineas explaining that it hasn't taken full effect yet.
Candace heads off to the Flawless Girl booth, where Blanca sits. Blanca tells Candace to stand over by a measuring post after Candace introduces herself and tells her about her goal of being the next Flawless Girl as she is told by her that she is two inches (5.08 cm) too short to become the next Flawless Girl as one of the lyrics mentioned in the brand's song states it to be never less than 5 foot 10 according to Blanca as she explains it to her since she wasn't looking for a rhyme like what Candace thought. Candace walks away with her new Flawless Girl skin care products she bought that were offered to her by Blanca as a consolation, who mentions that she can come close to be a Flawless Girl by buying them, crying about being too short while talking to her mom about it on the phone, not taking this well and assuming she can never be perfect no matter what she does and will always be two inches too ugly, adding that she needed a sudden growth spurt in the next fifteen minutes and remembers that Phineas and Ferb had created a growth elixir before she hangs up off the phone, now having an idea of how she can become tall enough to be the next Flawless Girl but with her still not being aware that it hadn't taken full effect yet and didn't realize that this wasn't going to be a good idea, as Phineas, Ferb and Baljeet were still waiting for the watermelon to grow. Candace secretly steals the growth elixir from them and pours a drop of it on herself as it makes her taller by two inches. Candace goes back to the Flawless Girl booth and gets told by Blanca that she is in the running to become the next Flawless Girl after surprising her with her new height.
As the growth elixir begins to take full effect. Baljeet's watermelon grows to become the biggest watermelon at the festival. Moments after it grew, Candace begins growing taller as well. Soon enough, she becomes a 50-foot (15.24-m) tall giant as her nose grows first after meeting up with Stacy to tell her that she's in with the auditions starting in 2 hours, then her head after discovering it by running into the House of Mirrors to look into a mirror, needing to find a mirror after her nose grew. After discovering her gigantic head and realizing that she turned into Bobblehead Candace as stated by Candace herself, she runs out of the house of mirrors screaming and into a tent to hide right before the rest of her body grew to the size of her head, then she grew again for the final time to completely finish her growth and sneaks over towards Phineas and Ferb with the tent still over her back, pleading Phineas, who wondered what had happened to the growth elixir he and Ferb created until seeing that Candace grew gigantic because of it after poking her head out of the tent and adds that's what happened to it when he and Ferb saw her after she grew, if he has some kind of shrinking antidote, believing that the two boys were responsible for doing this to her and figured that they can undo it, even though she was the one who used the growth elixir they created on herself without their knowledge or consent. Phineas tells her that he and Ferb don't but to not worry as they'll get right on it right before P.P. Otter walks over and gives Candace his business card, after seeing her with a gigantic head while she was running into the tent to hide before the effects of the growth elixir had completely finished while he was on the phone talking about finding some new talent for his Oddball Show since nobody would pay him to see his oddballs anymore after a failed attempt to hide from him and tells her to give him a call if she changes her mind after she denies the offer by saying that she kinda was going through something at the moment, as the boys jokingly introduce her to him as their "big" sister as they thought it was funny but were trying to hold in their laughing after he introduces himself to them and questions them about introducing her to him, much to her annoyance before she was given the card. He walks away afterwards, Candace explains to Phineas and Ferb that they gotta change her back to her normal size due to the Flawless Girl auditions starting in a couple of hours.
Meanwhile at Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, Perry enters the building, interrupting The Slacks singing Doofenshmirtz's evil jingle. Doofenshmirtz then traps him in a baby toy, telling him about his cousin Gertrude's baby shower he went to the other day which he got the idea for the trap from. He then explains that he has created a device that will cover the entire Tri-state area with the smell of dirty diapers that he had gotten from the baby shower, as he gets annoyed from the noise of the Mid-Summer's Festival.
Back with Candace, Phineas and Ferb, along with the tent that she was hiding in no longer up, Phineas and Ferb still hadn't figured out a way to undo the effects of the growth elixir despite saying that they'll get right on it earlier and that they have already done so with their past inventions, with Candace asking them about making up some kind of reducing cream or an amazing shrink ray device, Phineas tells her that they'll see what they can do but we're not magicians, then Candace begins to cry, which leads to her crying a single giant tear, saying that she was a freak and that she will never be a Flawless Girl at the same time Ferb pulls out his umbrella to prevent himself and Phineas from getting soaked from her giant tear. She decides to go to P.P. Otter and his oddball show, assuming that is the only place she would fit in and that she wasn't going to see her family anymore, explaining to her brothers that it was nice knowing them and to tell her both parents that she loves them, believing that she'll be living amongst the carnies from now on before she stomps away to go to him while continuing to cry, causing the ground to shake, leaving Phineas to give Ferb a look of concern on his face after watching her stomp away in sadness.
When she gets there, P.P. Otter tells her to climb a skyscraper carrying him dressed in a gorilla suit that he had been wearing all day before revealing so according to him when he was questioned about how long he had been wearing it for by Candace (in a reversed twist of King Kong as a big promotional stunt). Candace climbs the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated building. Inside, Doofenshmirtz is walking pass with Perry still in his trap taking him to the balcony and hardly notices Candace climbing his building at the same time as she is seen climbing though the window and Candace hardly notices Perry as a secret agent while climbing. Outside of the balcony, Doofenshmirtz shows Perry his Smell-inator and a beaker filled with blue liquid of the flask that smells like dirty diapers. When Candace reaches the top of the building, Blanca spots her along with two girls that were standing next to her which the girls gasp in shock but Blanca decides that Candace is the next Flawless Girl after spotting her and states that she is most Flawless Girl she had ever seen after spotting her and right before she crowns the next one to finish her Flawless Girl audition which were one of the girls standing next to her when they spotted Candace as she was now even more impressed than before, then she takes the elevator up to top of D.E.Inc. and tells Candace that she has some great news. But Candace can't hear her. So, she picks Blanca up in her hand, the same one she was holding P.P. Otter in.
Blanca tells Candace that she is the next Flawless Girl, explaining that girls will never be able to live up to the expectations she had set because of her new height and that they'll be forced to buy her product forever right before she and P.P. Otter begin to argue over her, with P.P. Otter beginning it by telling her to scram and assists that Candace is his Oddball since he disagreed with her on what he heard her say, with Blanca assisting that Candace is her Flawless Girl because she disagreed with him on what she heard him say. However, their argument made Candace realize something about the both of them, making money off of people's natural insecurities and angrily calls them out for it along with explaining to the both of them about how they do so after cutting their argument short, with P.P. Otter showing people oddballs to make them feel better about themselves and Blanca making beauty an unattainable life goal to make people feel worse about themselves. Candace even adds that even though she is now a 50-foot tall giant, she knows that all of this is still out of her reach. With that in mind, she decides to stop making beauty the focus of her life and abandon her goal of being the next Flawless Girl, now seeing that this entire time she really didn't need to be a Flawless Girl or an Oddball after all, as it had kept her distracted from her real focus of her life: busting Phineas and Ferb. She leaves Blanca and P.P. Otter on top of the building while saying "Giant Candace is Out, PEACE!" to the both of them and jumps down to the ground to go do just that as she lands the ground with a thud.
Candace leaves the growth elixir on top of the building and P.P. Otter grabs it to make money after immediately noticing it behind him. However, when Blanca wrestles it out of his hands in attempt to take it from him to make money as well, it accidentally falls off the building and lands into Doofenshmirtz's hands, replacing the flask that smells like dirty diapers that he intended to put into the invention with the growth elixir as he puts the growth elixir into the invention instead without realizing this and activates it after setting the range selector option to be around 200 yards around the building but the option is accidentally set to the whole universe after he was kicked into it by Perry who was freed from the trap that he was in by one of the fish agents who came to the rescue so Perry could fight him, spraying the elixir throughout the whole universe, causing most of it to grow bigger and making it look like nothing ever happened to Candace or anything, as Candace was in the streets running home to show her mom that Phineas and Ferb made her into a giant and right before she was able to show her, the city grows under her in progress of the universe growing, but hardly notices it and thinks she had returned back to normal size as soon as she got inside the house and after explaining to her mom that she was 50 feet tall and that she didn't even fit in the house, then states that she was back to normal after realizing that she did fit in the house, with Linda stating about "Normal" being a relative term afterwards.
Back at Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated, Doofenshmirtz wonders what went wrong since nothing smelled any different after the use of the invention and Perry kicks him again as he lands on the table with the dirty diaper smell that was on his table landing in his hands. Perry kicks him again and the dirty diaper smell this time, lands on the top of his building, surrounding it with the smell. Perry puts all the fish agents in a plastic bag and makes his escape afterwards right before the building was covered, leaving Doofenshmirtz to wonder what was he thinking.
Due to the universe becoming larger, Baljeet loses the contest right when he was about to win according to him and goes home to put up his shame curtains as he previously stated earlier when he felt like it wasn't going to grow any bigger after he showed Phineas and Ferb his watermelon after the whole universe grew when they questioned him if he won the contest.

Background Information[]
- This episode, as well as two commentaries for it, are available on the Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension DVD. One is from by the show's creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh. The other gets done by the characters they voice, Doctor Doofenshmirtz and Major Monogram, respectively.
- In the character commentary, Monogram mentions he dated Blanca Dishon once when he was an exchange student in France. However, it seems like he did not enjoy it.
- Also, during above commentary, when Candace climbs Doofenshmirtz' building as he passes with Perry, Doof comments on how he did not even notice her, wondering how he did not feel her vibration. He also discovers how his plan failed after watching the boy's growth formula winding up in his hands, shouting frantically at his episode version not to put it in as Monogram laughs both times.
- He also comments about how he did not notice the boy's growth formula winding up in his hands along with adding about how he somehow didn't notice himself putting it into the machine despite him facing the other way while doing so since he was talking to Perry while he was doing so. He also comments about how the growth elixir got to the top of his building before it fell into his hands when Candace was not shown to be holding it nor putting it down before leaving along with stating it as a possibly of scene being cut out from it at some time.
- In the creators commentary of the Episode, they explain that the original scent of the Smell-Inator was going to be the smell of Doofenshmirtz's uncle Justin but was changed to the scent of dirty diapers likely to prevent controversy from people named Justin being potentially offended.
- Also, during above commentary, Povenmire and Marsh comment about how they basically wanted to show the audience that they should be happy with the way they are and not let anybody else tell them otherwise along with mentioning that there are people out there who take advantage of their insecurities. Both also mention that they are perfectly happy with the way they are.
- They also comment about how they basically made everything in the universe bigger to match Candace perfectly instead of returning her to her normal size.
- After the blue potion went all over Doof's building, he was taking baths in tomato juice for a week. (Attack of the 50 Foot Sister - Character Commentary)
Production Information[]
- Episode description from a 2009 Disney XD Phineas and Ferb press release:[1]
- When Baljeet enters a vegetable growing contest at the local fair, Phineas and Ferb create the PhineasandFerbalizer to speed up the growing process. Meanwhile, Candace is attempting to make her way in the modeling business, but is told she's too short. Phineas and Ferb use their newest invention to help her grow, but she doesn't stop growing.
- In iTunes, the episode gets described as "Attack of the 50 Foot Candace" and for On Demand versions of the episode such as Netflix, Kids On Demand, iTunes, etc., in the episode's description, the growth elixir gets referred to as "Phineasandferbalizer".
International Premieres[]
- April 1, 2009 (Disney Channel Brazil)
- July 23, 2009 (Disney Channel Latin America)
- June 2, 2011 (Disney XD Canada)
Errors[]
- It is bizarre that Doofenshmirtz had a banjo, because he said he hated musical instruments that start with the letter "B" ("Mom's Birthday"). That said, Doofenshmirtz did have golf clubs even though he said he didn't play golf ("One Good Scare Ought to Do It!").
- Technically, when Dr. Doofenshmirtz puts the growth elixir into the Smellinator, the universe should've grown slightly and then after an unknown period of time grow 10 times its original mass. Instead it grows entirely at once. Being used in a machine may have accelerated the process, though. It's also possible that the growth elixir might not always take that long to process whenever is used on something.
- Linda's neck gets transparent the second time she appears when she is talking on the phone with Candace. It is also oddly positioned.
- When Candace says "...and you make beauty totally unattainable so they'll feel worse about themselves!..." when pointing her left hand towards Blanca, her left hand is smaller than her right one (viewer's left).
- When Candace runs out of the house of mirrors, her tongue gets enlarged then her head but it shouldn't because when Candace turned into Bobblehead Candace after seeing it for herself in the mirror, her tongue was normal. It could also be that her tongue was in the full phase before the rest of her body.
- When the Flawless Girl uses her mascara in close up, her eye is a different shape and is smaller than usual.
- Near the end of the episode when Doofenshmirtz is wondering why the Smell-inator didn't have any effect, he is standing near the beaker of the liquid dirty diaper smell. Agent P kicks him over and past the cart that the beaker was sitting on and he lands next to the cart again.
- In that same scene before he is kicked over by Agent P, the bottle that Phineas and Ferb had their growth elixir in and was put into the machine by Doofenshmirtz himself earlier disappears after it was used in the machine.
- When Stacy and Candace are in front of the mirror, Stacy's and Candace's heads are littler than the reality, but the mirror isn't made for that, because of his shape.
- One of the lines in the Flawless Girl song is "She's at the forefront of every trend" but when Blanca shows Candace the lyric sheet for the same song, the line gets listed as "At the forefront of every trend". Though is possible that those were originally the lyrics for the band's song and that Blanca had the original lyric sheet instead without realizing it or they were working on changing the lyrics for the band's song and that the sheet Blanca had was a new version of the band's song that wasn't even completed yet without realizing it either.
- The notes in the lyric sheet for the Flawless Girl song are different from the notes heard during the real song.
- Phineas and Ferb never labeled their Growth Elixir, and since Candace and Baljeet where the only ones who they told them what it was called, P.P. Otter and Blanca wouldn't have known what it was called without a label on it as Candace never told them what it was called before she left to go bust Phineas and Ferb, instead P.P. Otter immediately finds out what it was called without a label on it as soon he immediately notices it behind him after Candace left.
- In that same scene before Blanca and P.P. Otter started fighting over it and before it fails into Doofenshmirtz's hands, Candace wasn't shown to be holding it or putting it down before leaving.
Continuity[]
- Phineas asks Ferb to get out his chemistry set he got from Bastille Day. Ferb also received a camera on Bastille Day ("The Lake Nose Monster").
- The episode takes place a few days after "Unfair Science Fair" as Baljeet says: "A few days ago, you helped me build a portal to Mars.." If the episodes had been ran correctly, it would have been about 4 days, going by the episode number for that one and this one.
Allusions[]
- Attack of the 50 Foot Woman - The title of the episode is likely a parody of the 1958 film and its 1993 remake.
- Batman - When Baljeet calls Phineas and Ferb on their holographic device, Phineas exclaims "It's the Baljeet Signal!", a reference to Batman.
- Pinky and the Brain - The mishap with Doofenshmirtz's smell-inator after the growth elixir was put in without Doofenshmirtz realizing that he put in the wrong potion, in which the planet grows and makes giant Candace the same size relative to her surroundings, recalls the plot and ending of the short "Tokyo Grows".
- Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope - Baljeet's message, particularly the "Help me, Phineas and Ferb! You are my only hope!", is a near copy of Princess Leia's plea to General Kenobi. Baljeet also uses a hologram, and even mirror's Leia's actions at the end (looking over his shoulder and kneeling down to turn off the recorder). The background music during this scene is also similar. In the character commentary from the DVD release of Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension, Doof points out that this is a Star Wars reference.
- King Kong - When Candace grows to become 50 feet (15.24 meters) tall, she climbs the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated building, holding P.P. Otter, who is wearing a gorilla suit. In his own words, it is a "reversal of a familiar theme" and it was also under his suggestion that he had in mind.
- Beakman's World - When Phineas and Ferb are developing the potion, Phineas says "Bada-Beem, Bada-Boom" (catchphrase of Beakman).
- P.P. Otter's name is most likely a parody of P.T. Barnum, of Barnum and Bailey's fame. As well as a urine joke. His surname might be a reference to an alleged joke played by Barnum: visitors to his show saw a sign pointing to the Water Otter exhibit - which turned out it was a kettle. It is likely the reason his show is called an Oddball Show instead of a freakshow is to avoid sparking controversy.
- The Karate Kid - Perry is standing in the "Crane Position" while Doofenshmirtz is wondering what happened to the Smellinator and delivers the kick after he finds the dirty diaper beaker.
- The Powerpuff Girls - The whole universe growing to be bigger to make it look like Candace returned to her normal size when she actually didn't around the end of this episode is similarly reminiscent of the ending of this show's episode "What's the Big Idea?", where Professor Utonium used Mojo Jojo's device that the villain had used earlier to make Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup giants so they couldn't stop him from committing crimes without causing any destruction to the city of Townsville after not only repairing it when it was crushed after being accidentally stepped on by Blossom due to her size after being turned into a giant along with the rest of her sisters by Mojo Jojo according to Blossom herself when she gave him the damaged device but also thinking that he was able to make it to be in reverse to return the three girls to their normal size, but instead of the girls returning their to normal size, the whole city of Townsville grows bigger than planet Earth. As according to Mojo Jojo himself, his device doesn't work in reverse as he mentions this after being beaten up and thrown in jail by the girls once again while trying to think how the girls returned to their normal size before it is revealed that they actually didn't return to their normal size. The episode also has a part where Bubbles begins to cry because of the citizens telling the giant girls that they are making things worse which also caused to her cry giant tears due to her massive size like Candace in this episode, which lead to it almost flooding Townsville.
- Dragon Tales - This episode contains some similarities to that show's episode "One Big Wish", where Max, like Candace, has height angst about being too short and tries to become bigger, and at first it works as they grow a little bit. However, it ends up working too well and they eventually become a giant. They end up crying at one point because they don't like being giant, and another character pulls out an umbrella to prevent themselves from getting soaked by their tears due to their massive size before the giant runs away in sadness. Both Candace and Max learn at the end of the episode that they should appreciate who they are.
Trivia[]
- This episode occurs "days" after the portal to Mars get built. ("Unfair Science Fair" and "Unfair Science Fair Redux (Another Story)")
- Three new agents show up in this episode, which are all fish. They are given hats and made agents to avoid a lawsuit.
- This is the first time the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated jingle singers show up, presumably in a recording studio in the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated building.
- Candace is 5'8" (1.72 m).
- Assuming that Candace grew to exactly 50 feet tall as a result of exposure to the growth elixir, she became 8.824 times as tall as she was when the day began. Likewise, the Earth and the rest of the objects in the universe are now also 8.824 times larger than they were. Nobody notices because all measuring devices have grown by the same amount - as Einstein pointed out, everything is relative.
- This is one of few episodes where Stacy appears in person but her name is not spoken once.
- Dr. Doofenshmirtz tells Perry that he went to his cousin Gertrude's baby shower. Gertrude is also Candace's middle name. ("Fireside Girl Jamboree", "Hip Hip Parade")
- This is one of the rare times Phineas and Ferb are laughing at Candace (or at least trying not to).
- Phineas says the growth elixir only works once, which explains why Candace stayed the same size while the rest of the universe grew. Although it doesn't explain why the rest of the universe didn't continue to grow, and Candace, and the watermelon continues to shrink.
- This is the first episode of Season 2 that Baljeet appears without Buford.
- In "Out of Toon", the Control Freak (a.k.a Candace) grew 50 feet tall to destroy Team Improbable.
- The two boys from the Flawless Girl commercial are the two boys that see Candace in It's Candace ("One Good Scare Ought to Do It!")
- While on top of the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated building, Candace says, "Giant Candace is out, PEACE!" In "Unfair Science Fair Redux (Another Story)", she says, "Queen Candace is out! Peace!”
- As the carnival trucks pass the Flynn-Fletcher house, the melody heard resembles the melody of the second verse of the theme song.
- Second time the "Evil Jingle" gets referred to by name. ("I Scream, You Scream")
- Isabella does not make any appearances in either this episode or "Backyard Aquarium".
- This is one of the times Candace tried busting Phineas and Ferb for something that was actually her own fault (meaning in this episode, when she grew to be 50 feet tall or was about to after running into the tent to hide when she found that she had turned into Bobblehead Candace as stated by Candace herself before the rest of her body grew to the size of her head and then growing again one more time to completely finish her growth, she believed that Phineas and Ferb were the ones responsible for doing this to her and later tried to bust them for it when she was the one who used the growth elixir they created on herself after taking it from them without their knowledge or consent).
- This is the first time Candace changes her size in the series, (second if you count her as Control Freak growing to 50 feet tall in "Out of Toon") as in this episode, she used the growth elixir Phineas and Ferb created on herself so that she can become tall enough to be a Flawless Girl but backfires when it made her 50 feet tall and before trying to bust Phineas and Ferb later on for it even though she was the one who used it on herself after changing her mind about being one and denying the offer.
- Doofenshmirtz breaks the fourth wall by complaining about the festival being so loud that he can't even hear his own evil jingle.
- This is the only time Candace has height angst in the series (meaning she is insecure about her height due to being 2 inches too short (or, as she says, "2 inches too ugly") to be a Flawless Girl) before using the growth elixir to make herself taller by 2 inches but backfires when it ended up making her 50 feet tall and later realizing that the entire time she really didn't need to be a Flawless Girl after all.
- She also believed that she had turned into a monster (or, as she said "a freak") due to her gigantic size after growing to be 50 feet tall and assumed that P.P. Otter's Oddball Show would be the only place she would fit in as she didn't think that she was actually going to get picked as the next Flawless Girl because of this but ended up being wrong when she was later spotted on top of Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated by Blanca, who, as it turned out, didn't think she was a monster at all and thought the exact opposite when she spotted her along with her new size, believing she was the most Flawless Girl she had ever seen and as she explained it to Candace when she got to the top of the building using an elevator to get there of why she was picking her to be the next Flawless Girl, girls would never be able to live up to Candace's expectations since she is able to heighten expectations to an unreachable level and deemed her to be her next Flawless Girl until she and P.P. Otter begin to argue over her, which made Candace realize that both of them take advantage of people's insecurities since their businesses are ways to do so whether is to make people feel better or worse about themselves and changed her mind about being the next Flawless Girl, along with being an Oddball.
- One of the lyrics in the song Flawless Girl which states to be "Never less than 5 foot 10", but the song never stated anything about never beyond higher than 5 foot 10, which may also be one of the reasons why Blanca selected Candace to be her next Flawless Girl even though she was 50 feet tall due to 50 feet being an unreachable height expectation/level, only to end up being rejected by Candace after she changed her mind about being the next Flawless Girl.
- It's ironic that Candace not only becomes 50 feet tall in this episode, but also climbs the Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated building which (at least in this episode) is even taller than her since she has acrophobia (fear of heights), as revealed in "S'Winter", "Bowl-R-Ama Drama", and "Return Policy". Even more ironically, she doesn't show any signs of her acrophobia in this episode.
- Another bit of irony is how Candace believed she would never be a Flawless Girl because of her gigantic size after being fully effected by the growth elixir (which she thought made her a freak instead and made her feel like P.P. Otter's Oddball Show would be the only place where she would fit in), only for Blanca to actually pick her as a Flawless Girl because of her gigantic size when she spotted her (which she thought would inspire jealousy in other women and convince them to buy more of her cosmetic beauty products for the rest of her life or, as she says "forever") in attempt to reach the unrealistic expectations set by Candace's height but failed when Candace decided to change her mind about being a Flawless Girl when she realized what she had been going through in this episode was ways to make money off of people's insecurities whether it was to make them feel better or worse about themselves, having her likely to also decide that all of this was a waste of her time and what she's really been needing to do the entire time instead of being an Oddball and not being a Flawless Girl: busting Phineas and Ferb since she stated it to be the real focus of her life instead of beauty as she tried doing so afterwards).
- Morals:
- Always be happy with the way your appearance is and never let anybody tell you otherwise.
- In addition, don't judge people by their appearance in anyway either.
- Sometimes people who might be in the search for someone to be part of something of theirs actually just do it to take advantage of people's insecurities for money, whether is to make them feel better or worse about themselves.
- Also some people are not always who they may seem.
- It's also important to be aware that some people might do that.
- Sometimes doing something to yourself to be part of something when you don't get accepted to be part of it in anyway can only make things worse for yourself and it can also lead you getting into a problem.
- Sometimes it's best to not be part of something when you don't get accepted to be part of it in anyway.
- It's wrong to take advantage of people's insecurities, especially when it comes to making money. Because it's greedy.
- It's also not very nice depending on whether is to make them feel better or worse about themselves.
- Don't always expect to be part of something that you want to be part of in case you end up not getting accepted for it.
- This moral turns out to be subverted as Candace ends up changing her mind and rejects the offer of being the next Flawless Girl after realizing that not only Blanca but also P.P. Otter take advantage of people's insecurities for money.
- Always be happy with the way your appearance is and never let anybody tell you otherwise.
