Ariel Winter (born January 28, 1998) voices Gretchen in Phineas and Ferb and Wendy Stinglehopper in "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation!". She portrayed a younger version of Christina Ricci's character Trixie in Speed Racer. She starred as Alex Dunphy on ABC's Modern Family.

Background Information

Ariel is best known for her role as Alex Dunphy in the ABC comedy series, Modern Family. She has also guest-starred on shows such as Bones, Nip\Tuck, Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer, and ER. She also did voice-over for the movies Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Horton Hears a Who, Curious George, Bambi II and Ice Age: The Meltdown.

She is the younger sister to actress Shanelle Workman (from ABC's One Life to Live) and actor Jimmy Workman (who portrayed Pugsley Addams in the Addams Family movies). When not voicing Gretchen, she voices Marina the mermaid in Jake and the Never Land Pirates, a Disney Junior series, Princess Perdita in DC Showcase: Green Arrow and Young Justice and voices the titular character in the Disney Junior series and film Sofia the First. She also provides the voice of Penny in the 2014 film version of Mr. Peabody & Sherman.
