The "Anti-Gravity Ray" is a ray created by Phineas and Ferb during their stay at the Gelatin Dimension. It first appeared in "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension (video game)".
Inspiration and creation[]
While going through the gelatin sewers, Phineas and Ferb find some gears too heavy for them to lift. Phineas then gets an idea: to make an anti-gravity ray to lift them. They go around the area they're in looking for some parts, and once they get all of them, they build it near the place where the gears are.
Uses[]
The ray's primary use is to lift both objects and small enemies, only being able to lift large enemies after getting a mod chip, and even then it takes some time for it to do it.
Storywise, It's used only once: to take out the giant drain of the gelatin dimension so that all the gelatin gets flushed away.
Aftermath[]
It's unknown what happened to the ray after the game.
Mod Chips[]
- Heavy Lifter Mod: Allows the anti-gravity ray to lift heavier objects and enemies. It's at the start of the Balloon Dimension.
- Vortex Flux Mod: Gives the anti-gravity ray a potent vortex to throw the projectile at a faster rate, and it gives the projectile added damage too. At the start of some platforms balloons will be the mod chip, so you have to jump and use the backpack helicopter (or have your partner fly long enough) to grab it.
